IRS Whistleblower's Boss Pushed to Have Him Removed from Hunter Biden Investigation: Transcript

Darrell Waldon spoke with House investigators on Sept. 8

EXCLUSIVE: IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley's former superior recommended removing him from the federal investigation into Hunter Biden, a newly released transcript reveals, despite confirming key parts of Shapley's claims that the probe was vastly limited in scope.

IRS Special Agent in Charge Darrell Waldon sat for a closed-door interview with staff from the House Ways & Means Committee on Friday. Waldon was one of several people named by Shapley as having attended an Oct. 7, 2022, meeting in which then-U.S. Attorney for Delaware David Weiss allegedly discussed limitations on the Hunter Biden investigation.

Waldon, who said he was special agent in charge between "April of 2021 through February of 2023," said he recommended that Shapley be removed from the investigation for making "unsubstantiated" claims.

Republicans allege that Hunter is guilty of even more felonies and that Weiss' indictment on just the gun charges is insufficient.

'Unless U.S. Attorney Weiss investigates everyone involved in the fraud schemes and influence peddling, it will be clear President Biden's DOJ is protecting Hunter Biden and the big guy,' he continued.

Republican firebrand Rep. Matt Gaetz said in reaction: 'Getting Hunter on the gun charge is like getting Jeffrey Dahmer on littering.'

Vivek Ramaswamy calls Hunter Biden indictment a 'smokescreen': 'Don’t fall for it'

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy called the indictment of Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, a "smokescreen" amid allegations of other crimes surrounding the Biden family.

So which crimes do we want Hunter to walk on and which do we want to persue?

Why bother on any of it. He won’t go to jail for mor than 20 minutes and this will waste millions of taxpayer money

Won't matter in the end. Puddinhead will pardon him on his way out. This is a complete waste of time.

The left wins. Laws for thee and not for me.

Good thing the adults are in charge, right @luthervol ?

You guys get mad when the DOJ offers a plea, you get mad when he gets overcharged.

How does this fit into the narrative of the "WeApOnIz3d" DOJ narrative?

Trump blasts Justice Department Hunter Biden indictment as 'only crime' that doesn't 'implicate' the president

Former President Donald Trump is taking aim at the Justice Department over its indictment of President Biden's son Hunter Biden on federal firearms charges.

The former president claimed in a Truth Social post that the gun charge was "the only crime that Hunter Biden committed that does not implicate Crooked Joe Biden."

Hunter Biden-Linked Russian Billionaires Spared yet Again by US Sanctions

WASHINGTON — President Biden’s administration on Thursday sanctioned more Russian oligarchs — but continued to spare two billionaires who worked with first son Hunter Biden to find US property investments.

Oligarchs Yelena Baturina and Vladimir Yevtushenkov weren’t among the new targets — even though they have similarities to other newly sanctioned businesspeople.

Those include Russian billionaires Andrei Bokarev, president of Russian military equipment manufacturer Transmash, and Iskander Makhmudov, who owns financial services and mining companies.

Baturina, the former first lady of Moscow, assembled her $1.3 billion fortune through real estate and investments and dined with Hunter Biden and then-Vice President Joe Biden at least once at DC’s Café Milano. For reasons that remain unclear, she transferred $3.5 million in February 2014 to a firm controlled by Hunter and his associate Devon Archer.

A guy who was indicted on multiple charges in multiple indictments occurring over a wide time range is mad because his opponent's kid isn't being indicted for everything all at once.

First, the NRA (or indeed anyone) need try to argue militia membership regarding firearm ownership. Of course that's neither here nor there regarding the HB situation.

2nd:

I'm sure there's more than these which I was able to quickly look up.

EXCLUSIVE: DOJ Blocks Congressional Testimony Of FBI Agent who allegedly LIED about Big Tech suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story

The Department of Justice pulled a last-minute maneuver to block an FBI agent allegedly involved in Big Tech's suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story from testifying before Congress.

The House Judiciary Committee is investigating whether Hunter Biden's laptop was downplayed by social media companies. As part of the probe, Chairman Jim Jordan uncovered that an FBI agent involved in the saga - Elvis Chan - lied about the computer.

Chan had agreed to voluntarily appear Friday to provide the committee testimony and be represented by his personal counsel.

Evidence of Joe benefitting?

None.

Relevance to anything?

None.

But hey, keep trying.

It's one off damage control. Zero risk that anyone will ever do any jail time, but "hey, see? We aren't biased and only going after the right".

Vivek said it. It's a smokescreen.

But I'm sure you buy it.
