The Illinois Crisis

Who cares?

Just don't let Chicagoans move to Tennessee after the statepocalypse and do to my state what they did to theirs.

Locusts, viruses, parasites and socialists all consume resources until nothing is left and then move on to another thing to devour.

Actually, they have a Republican Governor.

With Dem majority in both House and Senate -- the idiots in the House, do as the leader Madigan tells them to no matter what - its almost like a mafia situation in there, they are so afraid of him.

Actually, they have a Republican Governor.

Since the beginning of the 1960s, Illinois has had 5 Democrat and 5 Republican govenors.

A better question is, "Has Illinois had a more liberal or conservative state house over the same timeframe"?

I contend, historically, it's not as much about which party controls the governorship or presidency, as which party controls the state house and senate of the respective institutions.

Read up on Kansas and what has happened there while you're chortling about Illinois.

Public pensions have been a scandal in a lot of places, I will say that.

Take a guess where the majority of the population of Kansas lives.

You should read up about California. You know the state, whose economy has been often trumpeted as proof liberal ideaology works even at national conventions, who is currently underfunding theirs by a trillion dollars.

Yes I know you brought up pensions. I am calling this out because your party loves to ignore it. So good on you.

Agreed.

Politicians, particularly Democrats, have been hoodwinking public servants while the public servents have willfully been in denial. Toxic symbiotic relationship.
