The Starr investigation was more like the Muller investigation. The house investigated a complexly different matter so there was no overlap. The Clinton impeachment was a result of the Starr investigation so the investigative work had already been completed. The two house impeachment investigations are not comparable.

Except the Star investigation included a real event, and a real crime rather than a fantasy hit job made up by people who didn't want Trump as president. The house in the Trump impeachment didn't investigate a thing; they simply threw innuendo into a pot and called it fact ... a crime. Their lockout was pretty similar to how Obamacare was written and passed. You and your loony lefty friends would be winning VN if the rest of use couldn't write anything.

I'm not the one that's suggested guilt by association is a valid argument, I don't. Poisoning the well by suggesting that 'length of relationships' matters is silly, either one is a product of their peers or they are not. I grew up with a guy that I was very good friends throughout our formative years. Went to middle school and high school with him, we were thick as thieves. Sadly, he's been in and out of jail for drugs for the last twenty or so years, should his decisions reflect on me now - or not?

If you sit in his church pew for years is definitely ok to ask if you condone his behavior.
