The Impeachment Thread

And he’s doing a bang up job keeping lobbyists and special interests out of his administration. Oh wait never mind.

Trump has named more ex-lobbyists to Cabinet in 3 years than Obama, Bush did in full terms: report

I think that's worth reading again.

Draining that swamp, LOL.

Deflection. I bet you believe his administration was scandal free just like he claims too.

Deflect? The conversations isn't about them, I was simply giving you kudos for not invoking them as you almost always do - and then you stepped in it.

My god you are awful at this, are you capable of responding without making up arguments or assuming positions for other people?

Trump appointee...

The intelligence watchdog at the center of Ukraine firestorm

The intelligence community’s chief watchdog, Michael Atkinson, is known to his peers and colleagues as a highly cautious “straight shooter” who tends to keep his head down.

So when he sounded the alarm to Congress earlier this month about an “urgent” complaint he’d received from an intelligence official involving Trump’s communications, those who’ve worked with him were surprised — and took it seriously.

“As soon as I saw that it was Atkinson, I thought, ‘Oh ****, this is real,’” said one of Atkinson’s former Justice Department colleagues. “He’s not a political guy. He’s a classic career prosecutor who’s only going to call balls and strikes.”

The whistleblower who sparked a mounting controversy over President Trump’s July phone call with Ukraine’s president did not have “firsthand knowledge” of the conversation, a person familiar with the situation told Fox News -- even as the issue fuels impeachment calls from Democrats.
The source said that it is made clear in the complaint itself that the whistleblower did not have direct knowledge of the July phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Source says whistleblower didn't have ‘firsthand knowledge’ of Trump call with Ukraine president

Well I be damn!

It’s amazing how fast these fake news, anonymously-sourced hit pieces from the democrat press fall apart.

Trump admitted it. Doesn't matter whether whistleblower on the phone or not. Complete red herring.

You're like a desperate attempt to create a VN account and slide into the ring in defense of Trumpisms. .

He asked the Ukranian president to investigate his political rival. That alone should result in removal from office.

And from there, only a fool would believe the delay in the aid package wasn't a part of that, even if not explicitly part of that call.

So Obama should’ve definitely been impeached for illegally spying on a candidate?

The assumption in your question is wrong.

But the fact you are asking it tells me you realize the trouble Trump is in over this. And he did it to himself. His own ego and hubris are his downfall.

Lol. A president signs of on illegally spying on a candidate in hopes of pinning something on him. It fails but he somehow gets a pass. A president asks a foreign country to investigate shady dealings with a candidate. The story has actual legs but this president is wrong? Lol. He was just trying to be more flexible, there’s nothing wrong with that....right?

Lol. Nothing is gonna happen it’s already falling apart about who said what with 2nd hand info. If your gonna set the standards don’t try and move the goalposts when it’s convenient. The dims will kick and scream and cry for the unforeseen future but if it wasn’t this it would be some other bs. Like a great idiot once said “elections have consequences” so deal with it.

Again, Trump admitted. That the whistleblower heard it second hand is now irrelevant.
