The Ukrainian President Zelensky. Trump froze hundreds of millions of dollars in military aid just days before offering to unfreeze the money in exchange for assisting Rudy Giuliani in his investigation of Hunter Biden. If true, this is pretty clear cut.

...and foreign aid cannot be leveraged against personal gain. That is corruption.

This is about to get really interesting.

Now it’s going to open up some serious battles in the courts. There’s quite a bit of information and testimony that the Trump administration has been successfully been keeping from Congress. The opening of a formal impeachment inquiry greatly increases (but not guarantees) the chances that the courts will rule in favor of Congress.

If they side with Trump, he will make it through this fairly unscathed; and his chances of re-election will significantly improve.

If they side with Congress, he will be impeached (and possibly removed from office) and his chances of a 2nd term are pretty much done.

Not sure which way it will go.

Let's see the whole whistleblower complaint and hear from him, directly. Maybe you will be right and there will be nothing to it.

A VP can say he will withhold aid unless said country fires a prosecutor that is investigating his drug addict son?

Examples of people suggesting the call should not be made public. And that's just a few pages of the thread and that is just here. Shall I really go find some examples of that shrew Ingraham on Fox or that mindless dolt Hannity talking about how the transcript should be kept secret?

Come on, we all see the obvious game being played here by Trump. Dems need to keep the pressure on and not allow spin to take hold. The MOMENT the transcript is released they need to be on every tv show they can find emphasizing the need for the whole complaint. Explain that this is obstruction and the president is white washing it.

My apologies if I took you out of context.

But let me ask you. How about the complaint. Do you agree it should be released, too, and that he should testify? You know, its always possible that the complaint won't be that significant and that he would tell Congress a version of events that is mild and does not implicate wrongdoing. I tend to doubt it given the IG finding, but it is possible.
