The Impeachment Thread

My apologies if I took you out of context.

But let me ask you. How about the complaint. Do you agree it should be released, too, and that he should testify? You know, its always possible that the complaint won't be that significant and that he would tell Congress a version of events that is mild and does not implicate wrongdoing. I tend to doubt it given the IG finding, but it is possible.

Same old bs. YGHN.

Sure. Let it all out. If we get the whistleblower with some vague second hand accounting there will be hell to pay. If he is involved to the extent that he would know all (8) instances, this would indicate someone close to Trump, but he better have proof.

Yes the whistle blower should testify and transcripts should be released.

That's kind of what I'm thinking.

From now on, any President (DIM or Repub) that simply gets accused of saying something perceived to be unlawful in a phone conversation will be required to release transcripts of their call. This is a bad precedent but if DIMs want to play that game, it will come back and bite them also.

This is about to get really interesting.

Now it’s going to open up some serious battles in the courts. There’s quite a bit of information and testimony that the Trump administration has been successfully been keeping from Congress. The opening of a formal impeachment inquiry greatly increases (but not guarantees) the chances that the courts will rule in favor of Congress.

If they side with Trump, he will make it through this fairly unscathed; and his chances of re-election will significantly improve.

If they side with Congress, he will be impeached (and possibly removed from office) and his chances of a 2nd term are pretty much done.

Not sure which way it will go.

Impeachment by the House is purely political. The House can not remove a president from office.

67 votes in a Senate trial will never happen. It’s a fantasy.

U.S. Senate: Impeachment

He should not have done it but now that it has been, that should be enough to put this to rest but the DIMs and Lib LameStream Media will keep pounding the Drum. They have no choice. They're desperate and know what is just around the corner. Deflect and Project all they want but it will not work. D5 coming soon!!!!!!!!!!!
No, because the "whistleblower's" complaint allegedly involves more than just one phone call. As Pelosi just said, the House Intelligence Committee will still need the complaint itself. That is the law.

Based on current democratic practices, we may very well see another orchestrated hoax trying to frame Trump. They have yet to learn if they just walk away and leave him to his on vices he would probably do himself in. It’s the Samsung Democratic Party. The next big thing is here.

At this point nothing would shock me.

I agree that Trump has not helped himself in his reelection bid. He is his own worst enemy. But if there is a possibility that a President attempted to bribe a foreign leader for personal political gain then there is a Constitutional obligation for Congress to find out if it is true or fabricated.
