The Impeachment Thread

You think the 2 million farmers in this country agree?

I think most of these farmers we hear about are incorporated , they trade in futures , they play the market , the dry and store their crops as well as sell them at the time to be able to get the best price . Most big farmers that I know of also raise either hogs , sheep or cattle to help offset the price fluctuations in their crops usually when one crop is down one livestock will be up . I don’t believe the big farmers are as hurt as the Union of farmers wants us to believe .

Biased whistleblower, biased whistleblower, squawk squawk, biased whistleblower.......Polly want a cracker?
Fox is going to push the biased whistleblower angle just to give Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows, and the other congressional leaders of the red hat cult something to talk about during the inevitable hearing, as well as provide some tweet material for Trump. It won’t mean much to anyone else, though.

America's reputation has unquestionably suffered.

For our troubles, we are still the greatest collection of individuals in the world, we are more than not, decent, generous, and kind. We have a country where you are able to do pretty much whatever you want, our cities aren't burning to the ground, our borders aren't stacked with state militia's at every border, we aren't living in warring territories and pretty much, have it sooooooo good.

Amazing how elected officials are the ones who cause most of our issues.........everyone of our everyday lives are pretty easy to get along minus normal individual life issues like family/friends/work/health. But, seemingly, as citizens, we don't have many issues in terms of our daily lives and going about them and not harming or hurting others (yes there is crime, going to have some idiots in 330 million people, but, it overall is pretty damn good).

Intrusive and problematic, that is the political landscape, so I really don't give a sh** what any politician from any other country has to say, f** them, pull out and be isolationists and see what they have to say in a few years. Won't be much except "we're sorry, please come back, please help us, we can't help ourselves, please.....".

We are the biggest, the baddest, the most decent (no matter our issues) and awesome country on the planet. The cronies can talk and talk and say whatever they want, doesn't change the fact that there is absolutely zero they can do about it. They need us more than we need them. See what happens if we cut off all funding across the board and all military help, service, sales, (which puts money into their, well, existence in many cases) and remove all bases, except for a few sound choices.

Let's pump that money into every facet of our interior.

Cut off the importing and exporting to many of these countries as well.

See who isn't just above barely surviving after a year or two. See what 3rd world looks like by year 3. Then, they won't have time to question our "reputation", they'll be too busy trying to survive.

Now, I understand your statement tvolsfan and I went quite a few steps in front of what you meant, but, I'm tired of all these supposed "leaders" from our, and every other country, who seemingly couldn't change a tire between the lot of them and they are made to be in power and are telling me how I should do it........... as I'm finishing the job of replacing a new tire. Worthless, and the problem most of the time.

I've not been keeping up lately. So tell me, is this impeachment thing gonna work or backfire in the democrats faces during the election???

If Dobbs, Hannity and Guiliani were defending me, I'd rather impeach myself than listen to their babble. Most annoying, ignorant blow-hards on the planet.

I can't see the upside. It's basically a show trial with a loaded jury. The only way it works is if Republicans see their poll numbers tank, but everybody seems dug in.

That is my point. His base is not likely to move, no matter what he did. No matter what.
