The Impeachment Thread

Of course they view him as a threat. They are trying to help him out of the race. Why do you think we are hearing all of the Ukraine stuff? They are driving up his negatives, just in case Biden doesn't drive his own up enough by being clueless. His handlers and the media are covering for him. The frontrunner is always going to draw the most fire.
Instead, they are reinforcing the only reason to vote for him and making a very strong case for it. Biden can beat Trump and Trump knows it. Trump would much rather run against either Warren or Sanders. Trump hasn't spoken a negative word about "Pocahontas" or "Crazy" Bernie in over 3 months. His entire focus has been on Biden. That is very telling.

And it has worked, along with help from Biden himself. He's an easy target.

Didn’t need to dig up dirt, he’s on video admitting it
He's on video discussing his actions as VP, as a representative of the US government, regarding a crucial foreign policy decision that was agreed upon by the vast majority of NATO and EU, acting on behalf of the US government.

Trump's shenanigans in Ukraine are quite different. Trump and friends leveraged constitutionally mandated foreign aid agreed upon by Congress in the attempt to discredit who he thinks is his future political opponent in a Presidential election.

One is not like the other...

And the Europeans, back in 2015, and the Ukranian activists back in 2015, and the former ambassador (the one who was there in 2015 and gave a speech about how the prosecutor was corrupt...)

I think the question you guys should be asking is how come Trump can’t muster this much support?

Oh, they'll get excited the next time he says some racist crap like, "Poor kids are just as bright as white kids."
They will be excited when the primary season is over and it's time to focus on beating Trump. The right is underestimating how much unabashed hatred there is for Trump on the left. Democrats will crawl over broken glass to vote against him on November 3, 2020.

He will move back to Bernie and Warren if and when necessary.

Discussing his actions as a VP about getting a prosecutor fired who was looking into his crooked sons employer

Uh huh. Sure. I bet you even kinda sorta believe that tripe.

That's why the Dems have to run a back-room smear campaign painted up to look like an impeachment. They know they don't have a candidate that can beat him, so they need some mud slinging and narrative building to make him beatable.

We don't underestimate. We all know how deranged you folks are.

I don't care what you believe.... Trump wouldn't have pushed so hard for investigation into Biden's son, if Joe Biden wasn't running for president. Any idiot can see that... and Biden leads Trump head to head in every poll and has from the start. It's a bad match up for Trump.
Warren or Sanders is nominated, it's four more years of Trump. Far left mouthpieces on these news stations need to quit throwing the Democrats' best chance of winning under a bus.

I can’t believe so many of you just keep believing this BS.

What will it take for you to question the “official” story?

Because he walks on water. He's the second coming.

No we understand trust me. We know you all hate low unemployment and record amounts of minorities working and not needing government handouts. Much better having them dependent on government for your side

Right... and how much time have they spent on Warren or Sanders? None. The entire focus of Trump has been on Biden. I think that helps Joe's case for being the best equipped to defeat Trump.

Or.....

Perhaps Trump has placed Biden in the crosshairs because he is, at least superficially, the most moderate of the candidates who stands a chance to be the frontrunner for the DNC. If he gets Joe out of the way in primary season, the socialists (Warren or Bernie) won’t stand a chance in the general.

He’s, in a way, fomenting a catch-22, but you’re too cretinous to see it. You can believe what you want, but no one becomes a billionaire by being a dumbass. I expect you’ll point to the ~$40M given to him by his father, but it is still a far cry from billions.

A prosecutor that damn near the majority of the EU and NATO agreed was a corrupt dude that needed to go. Biden was acting on behalf of US foreign policy.

Trump was acting to help himself get reelected.

These are not the same kind of thing.

Right. All those people that got a job, or an increase in their paycheck, or a good return on their 401K are going to vote against their financial interest.
I certainly would. Short term financial self interest isn't the overriding priority for all voters.
