The Impeachment Thread

So you’re on the record saying you won’t even admit it was a conflict of interest?

What about him bragging to the Council on Foreign Relations? Totally normal, right?

You won’t even admit it’s a bad look for Biden?

Damn fine job of brainwashing our MSM is doing.
I'm on record saying that I would have no problem with Pence doing the EXACT SAME THING Joe Biden did as acting representative of US foreign policy about a matter that was agreed upon by the majority of US intelligence, EU intelligence, and our NATO allies concerning the prosecutor in Ukraine.

I'm also on record saying I have serious issues with Trump and friends trying to dig up dirt on a potential future political opponent by leveraging CONGRESSIONAL MANDATED funding for their own nefarious purposes.

The differences are astounding. Yet I'm the brainwashed one, tricked into supporting a candidate by those evil Commies in the MSM that I don't even want to win the nomination? Lmao

I did not use any such word as "catastrophic". I said that no evidence would be tangible for some time. I did say that Trump was irresponsible but I also included his spending as an example.
Like he said, we've heard these promises about the future before.

Yawn.

It's funny that Trump has things going so well in the present that you have to amortized his mistakes as assurances in the future.

Was the support Biden threatened to withhold from them if they didn't fire the prosecutor that was investigating his son's company...was that CONGRESSIONALLY MANDATED?

I don't agree that he has "things going so well" and I made no promises other than that this excessive deregulation will eventually have consequences.

1.) Biden alone didn’t have the authority to hold the money up.
2.) It has been widely reported, before the Trump crap, that this guy needed to go
3.) of course Biden’s son was part of that company for political reasons. Guess what: It happens all the time.

But was it CONGRESSIONALLY MANDATED?

It sure is scarier in ALL CAPS!

And no. He didn't have the authority to hold the money up. Guess who did? The president.

Lol!

As to number one, Biden told them to call the President if they thought he (Biden) didn't have the authority.

He was acting on the behalf of US foreign policy, in agreement with our EU and NATO allies. So yeah, he was acting on behalf of the US government, with the congressional mandate behind him.

His son working for Burisma has nothing to do with anything. If this was the case, shouldn't the Trump offspring be shuttered away in a fort somewhere? I don't seem to read much about you guys having issues with their conflicts of interests on here. Or absolutely rampant nepotism. Hmm.

So you think Obama would stick his neck out for Bidens son? I mean that’s laughable. Can you explain why everyone agreed this dude was a problem?

The funny part is they play that clip of Biden bragging about firing him as though it was some leaked video that recently got out. This thing has been sitting on YouTube for almost two years and it was never intended to be a secret.

Agreed. What I also find funny is how they just gloss over the fact that the guy was a **** bag.

I don't think it's against the law for hunter tho work for Burisma. It's probably an indication of pay for play, but that's just the nature of US political corruption. If Trump used his office to interfere in a corruption investigation against a company one of his kids was on the board of, I would consider it a horrible abuse of power.lot

The problem you have is you think bc of Bidens son being on a board of that company that’s why they went after him. Do research on the dude. He was a **** bag.

So we'll add "arrogant as hell" to the list.

I don't have any problems. I'm just pointing it that you're excusing your guy for just as bad a look as what you wanting to crucify Trump for. No problems. It's pretty fun.

We are watching the "muh Biden!" defense morph in to the "yeah there was a quid pro quo, so what!" defense before our very eyes. It has happened a couple times today.

You're hilarious. I hate the republicans, didn't vote for Trump, and won't vote for him next time.

I can just sniff a bag of **** from a mile away.

And you're carrying it for your democrats.

Nice edit. When have I gone after Trump for the quid pro quo? I haven’t. When have you gone after Biden? I don’t think Trump has done anything warranting removal of office.

... and with every passing day, Trump sags to new lows as the reality of his failures weigh on his guilty mind.

His seat grows hotter and hotter, and all he can muster are slings and arrows.

What a glorious time it will be to watch him fall...

Nice edit. When have I crucified Trump for quid pro quo? I haven’t. When have you attacked Biden for this? Have you?
All I've said about Biden is that it's a bad look, and I'm interested to see how the Barr investigation turns out. Besides that, I was in a conversion asking whether Trumps withheld money was CONGRESSIONALLY MANDATED.

And then there was you...
