Per Merriam-Webster.com: The Legal Definition of a "whistleblower" is as follows:

Whistleblower : noun. An employee who brings wrongdoing by an employer or other employees to the attention of a government or law enforcement agency and who is commonly vested by statute with rights and remedies for retaliation.

The legal definition (which is the definition that is pertinent here) does not include any reference to an identity reveal, one way or the other.

he lied. He got caught. He saved himself from perjury before it was too late. You would do the same as would most people in his position. I agree he should have just told the truth from the beginning but he would have been labeled a liar by the admin

I’m sure you’ve given Gen Flynn the same consideration 🙄 sounds like he was faced with threats against his family as well and made the call to save them. Honorable Iraqi vet and all

Sondland changing his testimony is pretty damning for Trump, like it or not. I'm not saying it's going to change the outcome of the trial in the senate, but Trump is definitely getting impeached. I imagine the last two democrats will come around this as well.

I understand that position and I can't argue against it. Sondlund has clearly lied. Once a person's integrity is in question? Things are never quite the same. Just remember that the next time Donald Trump says that he doesn't know either Lev Parnas or Igor Fruman, the two Giuliani associates arrested last month for campaign finance violations. There are pictures of Trump, Pence and Giuliani with those two guys all over the internet.

There are pics of me on FB from back in the day. I don’t know who they are. Don’t remember meeting them.
hell, you could be in one or two of them.

Hardly applicable to those pics where Trump is posing with Lev Parnas while grinning ear to ear and looking like best buddies. You obviously haven't seen the pics that I'm referring to. They know each other. And how about that pic with Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman standing with Donald Trump, Mike Pence and Rudy Giuliani? Not a good look.. not at all.

not unusual to hang out and have a cozy dinner at the WH with POTUS... I think on Wednesdays just anyone can just show up.

The guy was at 40% approval in 2017. You are either intentionally lying or ignorant of the situation. No one on here would call me a Trump fan but at least be honest.
