1. The refs were horrible and an abomination. They weren't the reason we lost, but it was obvious who was getting the calls.

2. Cam Tatum is becoming a joke.

3. Our posts have to handle double teams better.

4. Didn't like our rebounding effort.

5. I don't know why Jordan McRae didn't play more.

6. I'm very happy for Renaldo and the half he had today.

7. I'm proud to have Jeronne Maymon as a part of the University of Tennessee basketball team. Love watching him play.

8. I feel terrible and think I'm coming down with something, sorry this was quick. You guys have a good night and let's get the next game Saturday.

10. I don't have espnu, so it's probably better that I had to listen to the game and not watch it.

Vandy 2.0.

This is not a talented team at all. Which is why CCM needs to play the young guys all of the minutes. I know Wooridge had a great game - but if he is your leading scorer you basically suck. Play for next season and a decent SEC tourney showing.

i typically don't like to complain about the refs, but that was awful i think we had shot 4 FTs with 8 min left in the game.... 5-7 vs their 24-27. i know they are gonna get more FTs than us, but THAT many more?

Kentucky has good talent. Getting to take 27 free throws is awesome. Officiating was a disgrace and certainly did affect the game!

Not sure how long you have been a UT fan, but I have seen the same thing for over 40 years. It's Ky, it's Rupp, what else did you expect?? Happens every year...

Same as the Oakland, A. Peay, Georgia, and Vandy games I guess

these are all learning experiences IMO, and you dont throw away the tape on any of these game except maybe vandy, which i would keep. look back at pre-season we were picked 11th in sec and predicted to go what, .500, we are living up to expectations its time to learn from this and improve on it for next year.

Vols shoot 7 free throws. Kentucky 27. HMMMM. What if Woolridge hadn't knocked down 5 threes? Where did that come from?

The refs at Rupp should wear Blue strip shirts.

UK jumped of to a great start and took a 15 point lead in the first five minutes of the game. It was some of the best basketball I have watched all year. Davis was a beast and denied many shots near the rim. UT shot poorly all night, and UK's talent quickly turned this game into a blowout. Even though UT lost in every phase of the game, I would still like to see a rematch on a neutral court in the upcoming SEC tournament.

the more i think about it the more i think that the first 5 minutes are what killed us, much like vanderbilt. you cant go down 20 in the first 5 minutes on the road, get into foul trouble, and turn the ball over that is just asking for trouble.

Can't blame this on the officiating. Kentucky was the more aggressive team, and they were playing at home - they're going to get the calls. Let's say the officiating bias cost us 4-5 points - okay, we lose by 20. So what? Kentucky is loaded with elite talent. You can't expect to win a game with that wide a talent disparity unless UT plays its absolute best game (nope) and UK plays its worst (nope.)

That being said, if there's any positives to build on here, UT survived UK's initial onslaught out of the gate (11 for 11. Hard to compete against that.) and played them basically dead even from the 5 minutes in until 5 minutes to go. And that's considering we got goose eggs from Richardson and Tatum, and virtually nothing from Golden.

It's just something that UT, along with many teams in the country, doesn't have an answer for right now.
