They kinda love you working over. When I had my recent review that's what my boss said she loved about me, that I just work over without anyone asking. My lead guy told me when I started concerning working over, he said "you're the boss. Gotta work your shift, but after that you can work whatever you want". I enjoy my days off, but I enjoy making the extra money for stuff also. Fixing to start some remodel projects, so I need itThey don't mind you coming in that early? I mean, I guess not or you'd stop doing it. Half an hour or so is normal but 3 hours is excessive. Lol.
That's cool. Restaurants are notorious for not allowing overtime, but I didn't mind it most of the time. It made sense to me to have quality people that wanted to be there getting paid several dollars more an hour being efficient than saving a few bucks and having to hire and train. They kinda love you working over. You’re getting time and a half though, right? In which case, I love it!They kinda love you working over. Oh yeah, definitely time and a half, or I wouldn't do so much . It's been a blessing, we've gotten a lot of stuff taken care of, and can start some home improvements now. You’re getting time and a half though, right? In which case, I love it!
Agree with @Behr on it being worth paying extra to quality workers, when management also shows some flexibility on scheduling when Life happens, as it tends to do.
