Not too sure i'd want anyone from my respective team to win the Heisman... historically speaking... the team with the winner doesn't play well in their bowl game. It's sort of a jinx honor.

The only argument on the Nation that bores me is the Peyton heisman talk. If Peyton had beaten Florida he would have captured the award.

Now, the only reason that Tebow is not at the top of my list is because he has a 3 in the loss column. Had WVa gotten to the big game, White would have been number one on my list. Because they did not Brennan is my man. It is just the way I see it.

Sorry man... But if Colt Brennan is your man you need a loooong break from the TV set.
The Heisman is not a reflection of which top college player plays for the team with the best record... it's about who the best player is... period.
Colt Brennan in any other conference except maybe C-USA or the Sun Belt or whatever would not have the success he's enjoyed at Hawaii... and frankly wouldn't have a 50/50 TD/INT ratio... look at La. Tech... they suck and lost to Hawaii by one... LSU blew them out 58-10... what do you suppose will happen when Brennon and Co. meets UGA in the Sugar... Hawaii will wish they never boarded the plane.
Tebow may be a sophomore, may play for Florida and may have 3 losses... but hands down without a doubt is the best college football player this season. To say White would have gotten it is also a joke... as his name has been mentioned like ONCE this whoe season and WVU is nothing but the pretender they were picked to be this entire season.

That is really my point as well. Troy Smith was not the best player in college football last year. Darren McFadden was. Darren McFadden is the best player in college football again this year, but because of Arkansas' record, he will likely get shafted.

The Heisman winner, more often than not, has been the MVP on a team that goes undefeated or plays for the National Championship. The precedent says that it is the best player that plays for the team with the best record.

:blink:wow BPV did not know you felt this way.
I just get overwhelmed with Gator Love at times and my eyes gloss over. It's worse than beer goggles.

Now that I've had to explain it, I better understand where UTMBA, goodolerockytop and IE 95 are coming from.
