The Last Thing You Purchased II

Reshod that horse. I likey!
Well, we are moving and the car now has 5 lug fronts due to the disk brake conversion. Someone had swapped in a 4 lug front for some reason. Anyway, I was gonna pull the wheels off my trailer in order to tow the car to the new place (like 5 miles) and the wife asked me why didn't I just buy new tires for the car. So I sorta had permission to spend $1600 on new wheels and tires. So if nobody hears from me ever again, you know that I was incorrect in my assuption.

I will use H&R Block software for our tax return. If tou wait until Black Friday you can get it for half price.
Finally down to 2 returns.

~ $500 worth of acrylic urethane and sealer for above minivan as well as a new backup camera (this model did not have one from the factory). Hope to have this prohect completed in a couple weeks.

2024 Tacoma TRD Pro Hybrid.

I was dead set against the 4 banger turbo, was completely in the camp of sticking with the V6 in the Gen3 and sticking the finger to Toyota. Until I drove one…..

Next thing I know, I’m bringing one home. Drives like an absolute dream and plenty of power to boot. Early adopter concerns aside, I’m really, really pleased with the purchase.

Dealer was more than fair on my trade and got a decent chunk off since it’s 24. Gift to myself, since the wife got her 4Runner last year (and is already complaining that she should have waited until the 25’s came out. Wish me luck on that…). My old Taco still ran great for 120k miles, but was starting to nickel and dime more than I was willing to admit. Been driving Toyotas since I got out college and they’ve been great to me, so I’m happy to keep the tradition going.
