I am guessing that since some of you consider yourselves to be quite the experts that you could enlighten us all as to how CBJ is not the answer and who would be. Secondly, I would like to know how the play calling could be improved. I will hang up and listen.

I assume that you watched the games

I also assume that you know that Jones doesn't call the offense

I would also assume that you know that since Jones does not call the offense, that we wouldn't be upset with Jones, but with Bajakian

But I'm just assuming

Last I heard Butch didn't call plays and I'm not aware Bajakian was in the running for OC of the year. I could see how fans question some of the offensive play calling.

The play calling would be better if we had last year's O-line, this years' WRs and maybe Peyton Manning and Jamal Lewis in the backfield.

Something that you can't do is question any coaching staff

Its taboo

Don't forget to throw in Eric Berry at safety and one of the Colquitts to boom punts

I think Worley has looked good. Running backs and recievers too. Oline nsm. Whether the oline has impeded play calling who knows to what extent.

Play calling was very bland against Ark St. I believe he'll open it up like he did against USU when we play some tougher teams coming up.

Vol dracula knows, the play calling is purposely vanilla to give us the least chance to win

Someone doesn't get the point of message boards. If we all were rara and had the same opinions, this would be be a boring place.

There was a guy posting about his vast knowledge of coaching due to his 10 year old playing pop warner on here yesterday.

Do you mean that we all don't have to agree all the time?

Are you saying that we can all look at things from different perspectives and then comment on them?

I'll simply say this and it's been true since last year even when we were running pretty well and had a good line. We need more wrinkles to this offense. Specifically with the running game. Even mediocre arm chair qb's have reported knowing when we will run just on formations.
If you want an example click the OK looks dominant thread and watch the 1st video. OK pushes a shovel pass to the back that books it to the edge. Pig and others have the speed to do a play like that and so many more that our competition uses. Hey if practicing the run up the gut 7 times into the ass of our oline works why vary.

People don't usually resort to name calling unless they are upset

Most of the time, its because someone has trounced on their feelings

An observation about one's intelligence is merely that, an observation. I am not feeble enough to allow some internet doucher to get under my skin. I am still waiting on you to enlighten us as to your vast football knowledge that has given you the ability to criticize everything that occurs on and off the field. I will hang up and listen.

Weird concept, right? I remember the heavily censored boards that were around before Volnation. Needless to say, they aren't around any more.

Vacation

I remember the early years of Majors and losing 6 in a row to start the season in 1988

I do too. And like today there was hope for the future. I like the overall direction of the program although I think trying to run our offense as it is with Workey is trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.
