Might as well make this short.

1. It doesn't matter who was coaching. Tennessee didn't want to be there.

2. However, the game plan was awful. Offensively and defensively. There was no purpose on offense, and the decision to switch on ball screens against Florida was about as stupid as it gets.

3. Jordan McRae played his worst game in two years. Florida was allowed to be physical with him, and he couldn't do anything.

4. Antonio Barton's starting spot should be in jeopardy right now. That performance by him was the worst I've seen at the PG spot since I can remember. That was embarrassing. Scottie Wilbekin outclassed him.

5. Tennessee's starting backcourt was 2-29. I don't even know where to begin.

6. The lack of bench for Tennessee is killing them and you can see it. They had nobody that could come off the bench and contribute. That's a bad sign.

7. Bernard King Player of the Game: Jarnell Stokes. He played like an NBA first round pick tonight. He had a great game and I feel bad for him that he had to watch his guards put up the **** they did tonight. He could have mailed it in and no one would have played him. His effort was there all night.

8. Tennessee must learn that shooting 3's on the road doesn't win ball games, getting paint points, free throws, and stops do. The LSU game was an aberration and they have failed to recognize this.

9. Tennessee had 16 offensive rebounds. That's the only positive other than Jarnell Stokes I can take from this.

10. Make them watch this on a 24 hour loop. Or burn the tape. One of the other. Despite the "Woe is us" mentality most will take (and not unfairly) this doesn't change much from a tournament stand point. It was a worse case scenario for Tennessee tonight. If they beat Ole Miss on Wednesday, they will be back on track. For tournament purposes, Tennessee must win every home game the rest of the year. That will be a really tall task. It starts Wednesday.

BS on #1. You have a competent coach with a good game plan and UT plays like they want to be there

Yeah, I'm sure it's all on Cuonzo is starting guards went 2-29 from the field.

He deserves plenty of blame for this game, but acting as if he could have magically fixed the game tonight is asinine.

6. Lack of bench is due to his lack of recruiting SEC type players. He has been recruiting mostly Missouri Valley players in the past.

1. We only scored 41 points.

2. We got hammered by 26 points.

3. Stokes scored almost 50% of our points.

4. Cuonzo's style is not working.

5. Pearl is available.

This program is simply not going anywhere under cuonzo. He's not necessarily a "bad" coach, but it's just not working. And, if you do still support CCM...to what end? What is it exactly that makes you think he's the guy? Something has got to give.

Florida clearly tried to harass McRae and let the other guards beat them and the other guards couldn't throw it in the ocean....or drive to the basket.....or set anyone up.....or handle the press.....

Martin could have done a better job getting McRae good looks. His shooting percentage was because of a lack of quality looks.

The other guys is something else entirely

You guys played a great game, man. I was talking trash with a FLA fan before the game and of course said we'd come away with the upset. He naturally told me I was wrong, and that in 2 hours I would be proven as such. I responded by saying "well at least I'll still have my dignity". I was wrong

Surprising margin of victory, but not surprising outcome.

Why so many people here thought we were going to win at Florida is a mystery to me.

As he looks to be a lame duck - who can he recruit of quality to come to the rescue next year? Is 2-29 that great of an anomaly or is it the players available to play? Back home there is a 20K+ arena whose job it is of Hart to keep full. Wins =full Seats = $$$ = ROA on whoever is the coach.

I don't watch a lot of basketball, but that was embarrassing from any perspective. UT will never be better than mediocre with this staff.

How in hell can a team not get up enough to play a rival. That game was an embarrassing beat down on national tv.
:disappointed: :shakehead:

I call BS on #1 A good coach can get his teams attention. They might of still lost but at least they would lose fighting. there was no fight in this team and Martin is a joke.

Well, I'm willing to bet we'll do the whole late season run and we'll all start our diurnal checking of Lunardi's "first in/out", but that's hardly something to exactly look forward to at the moment.
