The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

What more do you need?

I posted the judges opinion. Funny as heck it was Amy Berman Jackson. Where have I heard her name? LOL

You are taking everything the author of that article said as gospel. I saw a lot of assertions by him. I didn't see the independent proof. Not saying it isn't real but I question.

It does matter and none of that ever happened. It was a riot.

It only matters to those that want to sweep it in under the rug and pretend their hero wasn't doing everything in his power to stay in office, against the will of the people, thereby ending American Democracy. Call it whatever you want, everyone knows what he was doing.

Yes, he was using every legal means available and when those ran out he left office.

Trump campaign knew ‘fake electors’ scheme was fraudulent, panel argues

The "fake" or "alternate" elector scheme constituted election fraud.

There were electoral certificates drafted which falsely claimed that Donald Trump had won states, which had already certified Joe Biden as their winner. In turn, those certificates also falsely identified slates of electors as having been lawfully chosen, as a result of Trump winning those states, that he didn't actually win.

Those "alternate electors" also signed their names to those certificates. That is about as cut and dry a case of fraud as you are ever going to ever see. If Trump personally directed this illegal scheme, then he is guilty of Conspiracy to Commit Fraud.

Yep, they are arguing that it was illegal. Let me know when that gets settled.

LOL. How was it not illegal? On top of being fraud, it is also one of the dumbest plans ever concocted. What idiot thought that had a chance of working?

The Trumpists have set the bar so low that coup attempts have been normalized in their land of make believe. Lying incessantly about the 2020 election has not only been normalized, you have to embrace the lie to get anywhere in the GOP these day or risk being ex-communicated from the Republican Party. Depravity is the soul of the GOP right now.

Nothing has been proven yet. I've got an open mind so let me know when.

This whole thing is a roll back to when Harry Reid changed the rules of the Senate to allow a judge to be confirmed with a simple majority, and look how that backfired in their faces. If they arrest Trump for the pettiest of crimes, they are going to feel a blowback that where they aren't very happy with the results.

True. The Republican Party is a cult of personality.

I said from the beginning that the most dangerous thing that could happen was for Trump and Trumpism to be normalized because it would lead to exactly where we now find ourselves. They have been gaslighted and propagandized to the point where they think they are the good guys and it's now an issue of good versus evil.

Thank you for some LOTR-grade science fiction bro.

Couple things you omitted:

(1) Americans don't want Trump to be President again.

Fully 64% of Americans don’t want to see Trump make another White House bid as he has teased -- including 27% of Republicans and 68% of independents -- and only 37% of adults have a favorable opinion of Trump, according to a recent Quinapic survey.

(2) Trump lost the 2020 election. Period.

Anyone talking about "civil uprising" in the same breath as Trump is in a very small minority of people. Fill in the blank for a reason, nobody cares.

(3) If Trump did actually commit a felony, he should be held to the same legal standards as anyone else, you or me, whoever.

Our country needs to move on from Trump. He's a symptom, not a cure. I hope the Republican Party doesn't go down the tube with him, but that remains a distinct possibility.

73million votes says different

Most of the dems that are in office are evil. And, probably a majority of the reps. So, it might be evil against evil.

They are an aggrieved lot who are resistant to change, the world is leaving them behind as it evolves and becomes more diverse. They are bitter and feeble minded so they embrace the autocrat. The sooner they get on board with change the better, civilizations never go in reverse.
