The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

Damn…I can’t ever unsee that.

You were just making excuses for why Clinton harassed a young woman, lied about it under oath, and how you were ok with it. Pretending anything Trump has done is worse than this total bull. But hey keep lying to yourself. You live you some proven sexual harassing liars Luther.

I am not claiming Trump is better than Clinton. I am claiming every single Dem who thinks trump is scum, but gave Clinton a pass, is a massive POS.
Too nuanced; how do you actually feel?

You may be misremembering. Or more than likely you are just trying to cover for the repubs pathetic acceptance of Trump's abhorrent behaviors.

TESTING OF A PRESIDENT: THE REACTION; SCATHING AND SAD, DEMOCRATS REACT TO CLINTON SPEECH (Published 1998).

Prominent Democrats around the country, including some of President Clinton's most loyal supporters, starkly distanced themselves from the President today and expressed deep personal disappointment with his behavior, as well as political anxiety about the future.

Among the sharpest remarks were those of Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, a longtime ally of Mr. Clinton who was described as even more angry than her statement reflected. ''I was present in the Roosevelt Room in January when the President categorically denied any sexual involvement with Monica Lewinsky,'' she said. ''I believed him. His remarks last evening leave me with a deep sense of sadness in that my trust in his credibility has been badly shattered.''

It goes on....open it up and read about how the repubs could/should have reacted.
Oh yeah. Diane Feinstein was so mad that she and every other Democrat voted to acquit him during impeachment even though he had admitted to the charges.

So, the Democrats did absolutely nothing.

And hell, Bill did it IN the White House.

They didn't run and hide as if they were scared to death. They didn't take revenge on those who publicly spoke out and criticized Clinton. So there's that.

No, they stood by him, excusing his crimes.

What the democrats and their partners in the media did do was attack the victim. Lewinsky was tarred and feathered and looking back this was just indicator of their growing misogynistic approach to governing.

Nope, they didn't do that. You have some memory issues.

The words had meaning. As does an absence of words. The repubs silence actually speaks volumes. Loudly and clearly.
When you say one thing and do another, no, the words do not have meaning. That spoke volumes about Democrats. They were so opposed and offended by what he was doing IN THE WHITE HOUSE, that they did absolutely nothing.

The parties are the same. I get you're a liberal mouthpiece spouting left-wing propaganda, but the left isn't better than the right. Neither side has a moral high ground.

I see you're back to they're exactly equal, impossibility. That may be the most mentally lazy approach of all.

Maybe. I guess I'm not into the mental gymnastics you have to use to try and justify the unjustifiable. I'm not that morally flexible.

It's not overly complicated. If someone does something you strongly disagree with, at least have the spine to say "I stongly disagree with that. I do not approve and I am disappointed."
Believe it or not, that's actually much more impactful than remaining silent; on multiple levels.
Don't really see where mental gymnastics comes into play...maybe when trying to justify silence?

It's not overly complicated. They did nothing to back up their words. In fact, their actions were the total opposite of their words. That makes them hypocrites.

Both men were wrong for cheating on their wives. Of course, one of them did it in the White House with a subordinate, which is definitely worse on the continuum.
