You may be misremembering. Or more than likely you are just trying to cover for the repubs pathetic acceptance of Trump's abhorrent behaviors.I watched the entire Democrat party play dumb about a sitting POTUS lying under oath and committing sexual harassment while in office. You, and others, poking your chest out and pretending somehow the Dem party is any better are liars. Are many of the Trump supporters? Yes. But stop pretending you are any better
They never did crap about it. So nice try. He should have been thrown out on his ass. But if it's just sex why is this Trump thing an issue? It's obviously not as bad as Clinton. But hey keep being a hypocrite too LutherYou may be misremembering. Or more than likely you are just trying to cover for the repubs pathetic acceptance of Trump's abhorrent behaviors.
TESTING OF A PRESIDENT: THE REACTION; SCATHING AND SAD, DEMOCRATS REACT TO CLINTON SPEECH (Published 1998).
Prominent Democrats around the country, including some of President Clinton's most loyal supporters, starkly distanced themselves from the President today and expressed deep personal disappointment with his behavior, as well as political anxiety about the future.
Among the sharpest remarks were those of Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, a longtime ally of Mr. Clinton who was described as even more angry than her statement reflected. ''I was present in the Roosevelt Room in January when the President categorically denied any sexual involvement with Monica Lewinsky,'' she said. ''I believed him. His remarks last evening leave me with a deep sense of sadness in that my trust in his credibility has been badly shattered.''
It goes on....open it up and read about how the repubs could/should have reacted.
I strongly disagree ... especially as it pertains to independent voters.Biden is hated as much as Trump and has been as divisive as well.

I would point to the 2022 mid-term elections as a case-in-point. They should have been a referendum on the economy and on Joe Biden's poor performance. That is how it usually is in the mid-terms ...
2022 was different, however, because Republicans over-played their hand on restricting abortions, and because Trump inserted himself into the elections - and he is more unpopular among independent voters, and much more polarizing than Biden.
what did they do about it besides complain? Nothing. Nothing. So bold and brave to admonish him but not rally give a ****. Kind of feels like they were just playing the public game. But no no don't toss him. Don't actually have integrity. So your previous post was completely made up? Of course it was, but you were probably intentionally led to believe it was true.
I have read that ... and I still point to the 2022 mid-term elections as my case-in-point. Republicans underperformed because of their hardline stance on abortion bans wit5hout exceptions and because Trump made himself the focal point of the Republican Party again.
Post it again .... so I can once again point to how poorly Republicans did in the 2022 mid-term elections, which was largely because of Trump's negative influence. The hate for Trump overrides Biden.
You were just making excuses for why Clinton harassed a young woman, lied about it under oath, and how you were ok with it. Pretending anything Trump has done is worse than this total bull. But hey keep lying to yourself. You love you some proven sexual harassing liars Luther.I was mainly just proving your original post was inaccurate.....
And that the dems were far more critical of Clinton and his actions than repubs have ever been with Trump. That's pretty much it.
