The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

If you voted for Hillary you might want to sit it out calling anyone a criminal.
I doubt anyone is worried about you calling them a hypocrite.

You do realize that 100% of the evidence in this latest indictment was provided by Trump Republicans, right? All appointed by Trump. 100%

Consider Trump tried to wall up at least a part of the southern border, got no funding from congress, and had his hands slapped when he tried to reallocate funding. Biden came into office attempting to bribe a new generation of voters by reliving them of student debt with an executive order when congress didn't go along, the SC slapped that down, and he's still doing it again ... and no outrage over reallocated funds or creating an unfunded program. Now tell me who is actually trying to take full control of the country. Don't leave out the "climate" agenda stuff like attempting to ban anything petroleum powered, etc. You have a very selective memory or view of things ... probably both.
Your points are well taken, but I don't like either one of them. They both are catering to agendas in order to gain control of Congress and the Supreme Court. Congress is dysfunctional as the result of party politics functioning in opposite extremes of each other. Everybody seems to be fine with that, but Congress fails when it refuses to govern from the Center.

The problem with what is happening now is that each Party is at a winner take all and there is zero compromise. McCarthy tried it with Biden and he got screwed both ways. We are going to need a strong leader as President that is going to have to say "No" to both. We don't have one in the race.
The standards for serving in Congress is low and most of the good ones keeping their parties in check were ran off by the other Party or their own Parties.

Congress has not been functional since 2005.
I blame the Democrats and Republicans for this mess because they both allowed the extremes of their parties take over in order to gain power. Sell out.

The Republican Party has always looked like the Adult in the Room....Now not so much.
The Democrat Party has always looked like the Child in the Room...Now maybe a teenager.

Dysfunctional, businesses would never succeed in an environment like this, why do we expect this to work in Congress. HR would have weeded these people out a long time ago.

Of course - he'll have to actually provide evidence to the court, which was his Achilles heel during his first tirades.

You should have already learned that Twitter accusations aren't the same as facts. He's been asked to put up or shut up in court rooms all over America and he's fallen flat on his face. And this would have included 'calling witnesses' to testify under oath.

As long as you keep listening to this bozo and his minions lie like dogs on twitter, you'll keep getting burned.

All those "no standing" roadblocks disappear now

Any of our local legal and election experts wanna explain the difference between Trump electors and those on Nixon and Kennedy in Hawaii in the 60s???? Other then the correct electors being held up after recount even the wording is similar....

Should be a slam dunk then, why all the grousing?

You guys should be welcoming this opportunity to show off all the evidence of election fraud.

You don't have to be an expert, 60+ years ago and nobody cared. No social media, little if any reporting. Not much to compare. 1 state vs multiple states. Let it go...

I'm no lawyer, but to beat all this all he has to do is show his proof of fraud, correct?

I'm starting to see the parallels between trumpers and organized religion. It's ride or die with election fraud and trump. These people have put in so much effort into believing, have invested so much emotion and time that it's inconceivable that they could possibly be wrong despite the evidence (or lack thereof). Fascinating.

One would think.

As far as I'm aware his current legal strategy is:

Considering its the exact same thing that Trump is accused of seems relevant...I know in your cult mind the fact that it was a democrat that employed the fraudulent elector scheme as y'all like to cal it first...it does set precedent that Trump did nothing illegal..

I think there are several viable defenses to the election fraud case. The idea that his lawyers told him it was legal may also defeat the culpability requirement. Based solely on the indictment, I think there is a pretty good defense that people under him acted alone or went beyond what he wanted them to do as well.

Could be that the prosecution didn’t put all their cards on the table in the indictment (pretty likely) and/or that they’re hoping he’ll go out and publicly commit to one of the defenses, like he did with the Mar-A-Lago case (seems too “4D chess” to be likely).

Will be interesting to see if one ofthose attorney's will commit career suicide by falling on that sword.

LOL, his defense is going to be that he was right, that he actually won?

All you are doing is throw Crap against the wall and seeing what sticks. Desperate people do Desperate things. This as you stated has no relevance to today's events.
The "Y'all" thing is just a coping mechanism and shows you not serious about the issues you raise.
Deal with it, shift the narrative, well it is a precedent, not much of one.
The detail plan of today trumps Trump need to quit living in the past. Even the author of the plan said it was a longshot. So Trump got duped, or he was told and did it anyway.
