Calling him names is not going to work. DJT's IQ is 161 which does not mean he has Common Sense, but it does mean he has a plan to get out from under this mess, so Beware.

He will try to keep his base riled and keep them feed with his propaganda of which he is doing an excellent job so far. He knows his biggest Challenge will be in GA and that is the one that will eventually nail him but not totally put him away.

Anybody would be stupid to not believe he can win the 2024 the Presidential Election. Who outsmarts who is going to be the end state no matter what the truth is in the long run. It is a 4D Chess game and the first side that looks in another direction will lose. The Republicans are not going to fold and neither will the Democrats.

Exercising a Court Mandate and locking Trump up at this moment would be a mistake and throw Gas on the fire. Patience is the key for Democrats and avoid chasing rabbits down a hole. Same thing with the Republicans as playing the long game will serve them best.

Neither side is winning, polls are skewed at the moment. The worse thing for the Democrats to do is to put Newsome in a position to even think he is a potential replacement for Biden. The worse thing the Republicans can do is to openly step away from Trump.

Other than a timeline for the indictments being pushed in either direction forward or back it is a dead heat. The Jan 6 Indictment and the GA/MI indictments will move faster than anticipated.
My opinion is that there is 50/50 chance at this moment these cases make it to the Supreme Court. Of course, depends on a lot factors, outcomes, Appeal justification, and/or a list of minor reasons for a review.

Plenty of time to get everybody’s panties in a wad, but this is big boy pants time for both sides.

EDIT: DJT is not an Idiot, Who on earth do you know that can commit Crimes and somewhat admit to them or have them confirmed, Bankrupt Organizations, Openly Lie, Cheat on his Wife, Take trips to Russia and N. Korea, Not pay his bills, call his handpicked Staff Members Incompetent worthless scum, build a congressional following of unqualified leaders and first get Elected and Second be a frontrunner in a Presidential Election. Idiots don't divide their Parties but he did and created basically a 3rd Party. Republicans are riding on Trump's Maga Wave. Not all of them but a lot of them. He got elected and he is the Republican Frontrunner. Idiots don't do that, Smart people do.

Donald Trump has done the complete opposite of what a normal Elected Official/Politician would do and it has worked for him. Reminds me of George Costanza in the Seinfeld Episode.

It appears as though Donald Trump genuinely believes that Mike Pence had the power to overturn the outcome of their mutual defeat. There is not a polite way to describe such an absurd notion. It violates the core principle of a democratic system of elections : the government is elected by the people. If one of the 4 major party candidates on the ballot has the power to overturn the outcome of their own election, then there is no point in even holding the election.

Does Trump want Kamala Harris to have this same power on January 6, 2025? I doubt it.

When you move to another state you should be barred from voting in local/state elections for a few years.

You know what your problem is? It's simple you think everybody is playing politics by the rules. Neither side is. Neither one of the parties care about Democracy if it costs them an election or a floor vote. It is all about winning and has nothing to do with Democracy. Sure people call it Democracy but it is call Politics now not Democracy. The Government is elected by people of which the candidates will tell them any lie that will get them elected. Some are elected because they are Democrats or Republicans.
Social and Mass Media create the Politicians of which we create. Churchs, white nationalist, LBGQT xyz, libs vote for their agenda. The Constitution is the framework of how Democracy should work but it is not the way Politics work. We elect people to feed our on personal agendas not to support the Constitution. It is left open to interpretation and legal challenge. DJT could have put a Gun to Mike Pence's head and there are people that would state that Pence is to blame. He threatened Pence and it has not moved the needle. What's more is that we spent months discussing whether or not it was a friendly day at the Capitol, tourist, insurrection or a riot. Somebody is in Denial, but it makes no difference because it is Politics.

Remember, though, to dems you don't need to understand local politics or conditions, you just need to vote D in every category. They make it so simple even a dead person or someone essentially brain dead can comply.
