Trump had more than 2 years, more than enough money, and zero ethics......why didn't he and his top notch team create that red tsunami?

Because you dont hire cops (or worse, police commissioners) to pull a super heist (especially where you dont want the bank to even know they got hit). You hire this kind of team:

The problem is - Trump doesnt know who to go to, to hire that kind of team in this field. He doesnt really understand the partisan machinery very well at all and most of the time, completely avoids it when possible. People forget that he just completely ditched the party bosses (even local ones) in 2016.

When we were speaking with him about working with us long ago, he simply expected us to handle all that (getting on the ballot in that case). But he is definitely not the first billionaire we worked with who just put money down and expected sausage to come out.

Campaign people also dont understand this stuff. They are mostly focused on the messaging and fundraising. This kind of thing is the realm of a fixer. The second problem is that it has to be a fixer smart enough to run a crack team - who has actual experience working in the BOEs to know the processes.

This is like finding a purple unicorn because 1. those kind of people dont usually work for BOEs because the pay is crap 2. those people dont have crack teams because there is no one paying them on a regular basis to do this stuff. Not enough at least. Granted, its a "vocation" not a job kinda thing but those kind of leads make $200-350k in the tech/biz world. Why would they work for cheapo political campaigns that are cyclical? The candidate certainly wont pay them the serious bucks because the candidate doesnt actually "know" the race is being fixed. He/she thinks its all them.

That changed somewhat on the Dem side with the Soros money and the Zuckbucks. This means the crack team is paid from "legit" orgs and now you just need a few team lead fixers who are paid by tech titans who know what real talent costs and who are willing to keep paying after the political cycle to continue working. This means you have a few of these guys and now they are getting better every cycle with new methods and experiences. This is a holy progressive jihad, while the GOP has been fighting a cyclical war, with corrupt fatcats making money off of the rube candidates who keep washing through.
