DA better have some compelling evidence.I'm pretty sure it's not a perjury case. What the DA has is a mystery to me, I read that he was trying to say that the payoff was a campaign expense that wasn't reported as such no matter where the money came from.
Like i say, let them go ahead set this precedent now.DA better have some compelling evidence.
Anybody else recollect a national politician arrested over campaign finance laws? I can only recall them getting fined and 'paying back the campaign.
It wasn't a cake walk when Reagan was president, either. The worst time in my life was the 70's and early 80's. Jobs were hard to come by, gas cost a fortune and inflation was out of control. We are right back where we were with Jimmy Carter and Biden is leading the charge.I'm too young to remember much about Carter's campaign, I just remember the bitching about how bad he sucked and the joy the adults had when he was thrown out of office.
It's as much Biden's fault as it was Carter's. Pretty much none at all.It wasn't a cake walk when Reagan was president, either. The worst time in my life was the 70's and early 80's. Jobs were hard to come by, gas cost a fortune and inflation was out of control. We are right back where we were with Jimmy Carter and Biden is leading the charge.
An Interview With 'Playboy' Magazine Nearly Torpedoed Jimmy Carter’s Presidential Campaign | History| Smithsonian MagazineI don't recall it being a big issue,,but I was only a kid
It is rather ironic that the man gave an interview to Playboy you have to admit.
