The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

Michael Cohen was convicted of facilitating an unlawful corporate campaign contribution (from The National Enquirer by way of David Pecker). ....

I'm saying it isn't plausible that this wasn't done under Donald Trump's direction. Cohen was the patsy ... ala John Dean during Watergate.
David Pecker???

How unfortunate.

Read back through these posts. Very little accountability is directed towards Trump for this matter. He is mostly portrayed as a persecuted victim. He has stopped denying that Daniels/Clifford was paid or signed an NDA ... but he was lying about it for over a year.

Once again, he is never made to account for these lies and this outrageous conduct.

You have no idea what Melania has put him through.

At what point does Trump's own behavior start to matter? It seems like he is always the innocent victim. The fact that a stripper was paid hush money never registers with his apologists. As long as it's not a crime, then it's like it doesn't even matter.
I mean, he could have REFUSED to pay the lady, sort of like Hunter is refusing to pay his BABY MOMMA for child support 😉

LOL - oh Luther, it always goes this way.

congrats on being mature enough to self reflect and answer a question; keep having your suspicions why others do not err, I mean WILL not answer the question
Unfortunately, that seems to be all we are left with.

what led to that conviction is the multiple counts of tax evasion - he plead to all of those and the campaign contribution but the case that brought him to the plea was the tax evasion.

he did not plead to what Bragg looks to be charging. they are separate crimes.

they went after Cohen to get to Trump. they couldn't make a case against Trump. Cohen wasn't the patsy; he was the guy the Feds tried to leverage to get Trump. Trump didn't use Cohen as a patsy.

Cohen was totally used as a patsy... That is naive as hell.

Cohen was convicted of causing an illegal corporate campaign contribution, funneled through shell companies and The National Enquirer. The transaction to Stormy Daniels is what led to this conviction. It is not credible that this transaction was conducted without the guidance of Donald Trump. Like I said ... Naive.

She’s over that. That one was minor.

As for the name thing when our daughter was young her 3 best friends were all named Rachel. So I called all of her friends Rachel through HS into college. Some of my wife’s friends that I’m not fond of are called Rachel, more than once I’ve heard her being asked “does he seriously not know my name”.

he pled guilty to that charge in exchange for others being dropped and a light sentence.
