As things stand now, I think that’s mostly copium for the rabid anti-Trump left the same way “Fani Willis is going to get tossed off the case, jailed for perjury, and disbarred” is copium for the rabid pro-trump right.

If she were to dismiss it on the basis of selective prosecution, I think it goes from “will you people talking about this just shut up already” to “eh… still probably not.”

It's probably the correct ruling but if both aren't brought up on perjury charges something stinks in GA.

I just dont know because there were several felonies admitted to by Fani, the campaign funds she admitted to stashing in her house, perjury, embezzlement with no paper trail...she obviously beneifted from hiring wade and did so with warning beforehand...but GA did just pass that bill to allow a committee to remove DAs I believe.

Not looking for hyper partisan bickering but wanted to know if there was precedent for something like this. Is it possible that this gives good standing to win an appeal after the case is decided?

I have no doubts trump will appeal but I was wondering if there was good possibility of winning that appeal. Would it not be better for her to step aside or is that even possible?

Probably the same as plagiarism is in the academic world. They will keep their job and potentially promoted.

It’s going downhill fast. I used to enjoy spending time in and around Atlanta, it’s just a sh*thole now and I stay away. Then of course you have the odorous stench of Athens and the obnoxious GA fans that turn ones stomach. The only places I will spend any real time in GA are Sea Island and Jekyll Island on golf outings.

True to a degree, I believe her main evidence was the phone call which was recorded illegally...many cases have been dismissed because of illegally gain evidence, which was a main part of the case..idk. it won't sit well with voters and just adds to the get trump at any cost narrative...odds he sees a bump in support???

She should be removed from office but I doubt the judge has the power to do that so if it couldn't be proven that her case was tainted due to her illegalities how could the judge remove her?

Atlanta used to be a great place to visit, now I only go when business requires it.

I do love northeast GA but it's being overrun by yankees and quickly becoming a cesspool.

The latest sign that the entire system is corrupt from top to bottom. All three branches, both parties, 90% of the people involved. Only hope is to vote them ALL out. Start over with a new party with only three qualifications 1) never been a politician before 2) not an attorney and 3) sign a legally binding contract to retire after serving a maximum of two terms

the bogus politically motivated case against trump has nothing to do with wade and willis' perjury. Anyone else would be indicted and sent to jail for doing what Willis and wade did.

Nothing happens and you state this less than 4 hours after the judge's ruling, kind of wanting "instant gratification".

Nothing may ever happen to her, but my guess is it will, just not on your's or Trump's timeline.

I don't agree with the Judge's ruling and I see your point, but it was the best decision and will allow this to move forward at this time. Big Case, Big Decision and no need to start back at square one. We don't have even have Willis' decision yet.
