The funny thing is that paying hush money is a not a crime in and of itself, he screwed the pooch when he started falsifying business records to cover it up. His miscalculation was thinking his supporters would care that he was cheating on his wife with a porn star. He now knows his supporters don't value integrity, morality, or character. In fact, to MAGA, depravity is a badge of honor.

Was it the Trump team or her friends and family? Try to be at least somewhat honest.

The judge had previously ruled the jury should remain anonymous to protect members of the panel from threats or harassment. Juror No. 2, an oncology nurse who lives on the Upper East Side, told the judge that family and friends had guessed her identity based on details revealed in media reports.

All this speculation regarding legit charges and misdemeanor vs felony before the first witness is just what it is, speculation or opinion. The who did what, when it happened, why it happened and how it happened will be known when all the witnesses have completed their testimony. They have charged him with a felony for good reason. It must have met the standards and burden of truth or it is a fishing expedition.

Bottom Line: Will Trump testify in his own defense? My guess is NO and he will blame his nonparticipation on somebody else or that he chose not to because the trial was a witch hunt and he is innocent.

If he takes the stand it's just further proof he hired terrible council. I'm assuming his lawyer for this is the same who did not ask for a jury trial previously.

So Jesse Waters goes on his show, gives out her name, address, where she works, her fiancé's name, and her family’s address. Do you think he should have done that? Considering this has led to many in Trumps crosshairs getting death threats. Be honest.

Oh I’m sorry I misspoke. He didn’t leak details, he just repeated them verbatim in one of his unhinged rants outside of the courthouse. Sorry for besmirching such a reputable guy. He wants these people to fear for their safety.

Technically, the judge said he wouldn't have allowed a jury trial since it's not allowed in NYS for disgorgement (i.e. unwind the profit) and that's the remedy Letitia said she was going to pursue.

But pretty much every attorney stated you file for a jury trial, let him deny it, and then have an issue for appeals.

The judge then ended up using a disgorgememt calculation that had no basis in economic reality. That might have been a strong appeal argument....
