What makes you think it will change if Congress is still deadlocked? Incompetent? and some Republicans are not totally sold on Pres Trump. Likewise, the Democrats are disorganized. So we are facing the same crap we have faced since 2005.

Those against him will be primaried out. I am hoping Trump has the power Of the people behind him this time. Look how the holdouts changed when Trump got behind M Johnson.

The Russiagate hoax started in mid-2016 with FBI, CIA, and DOJ aligning against him in illegitimate and illegal FISA warrants and continued through his presidency. By most estimates from financial publications, he lost upwards of 50% of his net worth. The list of media generated or sustained hoaxes were endless, attempts to label him as enemy asset, Nazi, white supremacist, racist, etc. He's endured multiple illegitimate impeachments, and finance-sapping prosecutions that continue.

Just to run again with many of the same hoaxes and lies perpetrated against him, and two assassination attempts.

If that's your defintion of being all about himself, at minimum I question your logic but wholly condemn your objectivity. Flatly, with the legitimate criticisms that can be made of him, this is bottom of the barrel unthinking nonsense.

Trump has always been about Trump. Im not even saying thats a bad thing since I know what Im getting. But his two biggest pieces of legislation (TCJA and CARES) had enough carveouts for him and his business interests.....

And the increase in his net worth from 2021 to 2024 was significantly more than his total net worth in June 2015 when he declared....

Increased spending at rate greater than inflation over and above Obama's excessive spending. 3.8T in 16 to 4.4T in 2019..

I fail to see either unduly benefitted Trump businesses, or warranting some alarm simply for owning some businesses that qualified.

Trump's financial rebound has been nearly entirely related to the start-up of Truth Social, launched in late Feb. 2022, and his majority stake in parent company TMTG. That's a very speculative, free market venture that cannot be argued he used his time in office to carve out for himself.

So, if you're not saying he expressly created unique financial benefits for himself, or that presidents should be barred from business post-office, I'm not sure what you're saying. There is zero reason for Trump to have campaigned again except he actually believes in a version of America the majority of voters believe in, and believes he's the guy to make it happen.

99% of politicans are in it for themselves (power, attention and/or money). Trump aint no different than the huge overwhelming majority....

You can count the number in DC on one hand who has America's interest at the top of their list.

Yeah, but he had power and money before even running in 2016. He literally doesn't, nor need to, ingratiate himself to anyone for financial interest or influence.
Why run again when the full-force of the federal government tried to destroy you the first time?
Isn't it possible to simply believe in what you ran on?

Seems a lot of people are addicted to complaining "where's the unicorn", and really don't want it to gallop in.
