The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

I'm looking into all those little mirrors on the disco ball, because my ass is partying tonight.

Parody, but wish it were real

We all know that by “partying” you mean sharing an extra carton of ice cream with your cats as you dream about more free crap paid for by other people. It could be worse. A quick look into BB’s brain: “Trump, Trump, Trumpity Trump, Trump, Trump…Trumpanzee.”

It's funny and it makes no difference which side of the Aisle you may fall on this.

We knew this day was coming and it was quite obvious it was going to start here and that the flood gates would open for indictments al la carte.

I don't like it but I expect that when it is all said and done Trump will be indicted 3 to 4 more times in the next 2 years. Others will be as well.

If he would have just kept his Mouth Shut in 2020 and continued to run for President (2024) we would not be where we are today. Yet he didn't and here we sit.

This doesn't mean he is fit for office because he isn't, bottom line he will be indicted into Purgatory.

Obama is also known as "the great divider" for a reason. He started this downward spiral of the division we currently see today. Trump made what he started worse and the current idiot (which you voted for) is attempting to finish it off. Reagan could very likely be the last great POTUS in this country imo

reagan started us on our merry decline into the debt we now have.

Obama was only called the great divider by rightwing media.
It's like a bunch of segregationists screaming that the integrationist is a divider. And then the segregationists put in the king of segregation and claim it's a result of the divisiveness of the integrationist. It's laughably absurd.

And Reagan - he is the Father of deficit spending....he is responsible for setting this path....people loved him because he made the short term economy look great (By deficit spending - and increasing average household debt about 400%)
Politicians quickly learned....make them feel good in the present, voters aren't smart enough to worry about the future.
That is REAGONOMICS 101.

I was really surprised when I heard that it was the hooker payoffs they were going after. Don't both parties have a slush fund for just this reason? Can we indict all of Congress?

We were in debt prior to Regan.
Look at the numbers.
Look at the rate of increase.
Reagan blew it out of the water....he started this trend and there is no intellectually honest way around that fact.
But hey, people ate it up.....thought he was great........lesson learned.

What history will show is that Carter was the last president to actually factor in long term benefit against short term feelz....and we see what that got him.

Politicians are giving us exactly what we want, we are just to dumb to understand.

Are you arguing that we weren't in debt prior to Regan?

I'm arguing that there had been times of slight fluctuations. Reagan is the first to have a double digit rate of increase during a time of supposed "prosperity". He's the first to claim a roaring economic success, while using a double digit rate of increase in deficit spending. (Smoke and mirrors.....voodoo economics.....Reaganomics....)
The perceived success certainly didn't go unnoticed by future politicians.

I think you need to go back to the days of FDR (pre WWII) to find the father of deficit spending and debt. Yes, Regan was a big spender but we have to go back further than him if we want to point fingers and declare someone the father of deficit spending and national debt.

Reagan increased the debt 186%. FDR over 1000% followed by Wilson. Two socialist stalwarts.
