Not really. We had WWII and the world wide Great Depression.I think you need to go back to the days of FDR (pre WWII) to find the father of deficit spending and debt. Yes, Regan was a big spender but we have to go back further than him if we want to point fingers and declare someone the father of deficit spending and national debt.
Don't you remember that line in the Bible:
Not really. We had WWII and the world wide Great Depression.
Reagan did it while claiming times were great and the economy was roaring.....therein lies the difference, and it's critical.
There has been no turning back (Clinton a little) since then.
I said pre-WWII but FDR prolonged the depression and continued to spend like a drunk sailor even after we started to come out of the depression. His WWII spending I don't fault him. When Regan took office not a damn sole with any sense was claiming that the economy was raring or the times were great, we had been teetering on the edge of a second depression for 3-4 years or more prior to Regan taking office and it wasn't until 84/85 things started to get better. Please don't think I'm defending Regan's spending, he deserves all the criticism he gets for it as it was excessive. But don't point fingers without pointing them at FDR also, he got the ball rolling.

The corrupt DA’s star witnesses are a convicted felon and a porn star. You can’t make that sh!t up.
Only because the indicted is a crook that pals around with morally-suspect lawyers who went to tier 30 law schools and porn stars. Sorta weird how that works. You think the star witnesses in a mobster trial are choir boys and Rhodes scholars?
I find it kind of odd that I’ve seen no proclamation of innocence, but just a smear campaign on the DA.
