The Masters Tournament

So are Bubba's pants being cut at the bottom a golf thing or is he bringing back early 2000s high school fashion?

So, wait... Because I'm stating that it would have been better not to penalize him at all, than to penalize him and then not DQ him... And because I am posting the R&A/USGA's actual description of when it is not appropriate to apply the DQ exception rule, I have a stickd up my rectum?

I do not think that phrase means what you think it means. You're a funny guy.

I apologize for the way I said that. Having principals does not mean you are a prig. That was out of line. I wasn't however just referring to you specifically. :hi: Either way it was a butthole thing to say.

Had a great time at Thursday's round. Pinmento cheese sammiches were awesome. I hope I can go back sometime. We caught the opening ceremony which was cool to see those golf legends up close. We walked the entire course and then posted up on the hill at 16. We also spent a good amount of time at 8 & 9.

No worries my friend. I realized before my first post that I was giving an opinion on what could prove to be a very polarizing subject.

I'll definetly be in the lottery going forward

Rick Reilly makes a good point....

TOPIC: The Masters may put a rules official with every group, instead of one on every hole, as it does now.

ONE TAKE: Of course they should. And then they should go one step further. They should become the first tournament to relieve players of the burden of keeping score at all. Why in the world do professional golfers have to keep their own score? Does LeBron James have to keep the score in his head as he plays? Does Dale Earnhardt Jr. have to keep track of how many laps he's driven?
"Sorry, Junior. Put down the beer. You didn't win. Turns out you drove only 499 laps."

Every single shot tour players hit is recorded by the official scorer who walks with their group. And by satellite. And seen by fans. And caddies. And millions at home.

Name another sport in which the athlete can be disqualified for not keeping perfect track of his score. Name a single other sport in which jabronis at home can call in violations from their couches -- like the one on Tiger Woods at this Masters -- when neither the press, the rules officials nor the players noticed.

"Sorry, Mr. Jeter. Turns out in the third inning, you didn't get hit by that pitch after all. We have to start all over."

Dear golf: Please join the rest of us in the 21st Century.

It's even worse than that. Every group already has a standard bearer carrying a scoreboard for the group along with someone walking along with the group that records all scores and relays them to the central scoreboard and alerts the officials if a ruling is needed . . . . but they still defer to the paper scorecard as the official score.

It's crazy that every group or at least every hole doesn't have a rules official.
