The melt down that is happening on the Ole Miss message board

I'm assuming if they didn't ask me to leave then I didn't hinder their experience. FTR, I didn't take a poll.

How do you know the people at the other end of the row weren't *****ing to others? You were the one being a dick and they responded. Don't feel like you are entitled to do what you want. You clearly were in the wrong. It doesn't excuse the other things you mentioned. However, if you believed this was ok, it calls to question your entire behavior while down their. Quite possible you brought it on yourself, just like you did with the seating situation.

I still fail to see how I inconvenience you if you're on the other side of the aisle and how it's any of your damn business. But once again you pick out 1 issue I had down there and run it into the ground. OM fans are notoriously snobby and that's a sentiment carried by many in the SEC. They were true to their colors in myriad of ways in 2009, not only because of the seating arrangement. Next time I'll consult you on my ticket purchases and come to you hoping you have 3 so I won't inconvenience you from the other side of the stadium. BTW, I'm sick of people who don't mind their own damn business and feel the need to preach. Who gives a **** where people sit as long as it's not affecting others around you. I ***** too if I'm squeezed out of my own seat by someone who shouldn't be there. But I couldn't give a rats ass what someone else does in another section, opposing fan or not.
If you were hanging off the end of row then you were affecting people walking up and down aisle possibly causing people to stop during times of congestion. I didn't address the Ole Miss fans because they have obnoxious fans just like everywhere else. I am done trying to discuss this point because it's apparent that things that happen to you are always someone else's fault.

I now blame others for everything? Jump to conclusions much captain extremo? Guess I'm just not as uptight as you and OM fans about where others sit. I'm glad you're done though and I'll take your advice to heart.

My behavior bwhahaha? I spent a total of 4 hrs in Oxford, 30 min touring campus and 3.5 hrs at the game then drove home 4.5 hrs. STHU trying to insinuate things. I've been to 11 of 14 SEC places and Oxford was by far the worst. Two best are Gville and Tuscaloosa. If a UT fan can have no issues in those two towns it's not me.

Dude is right.. The most uncomfortable I ever felt at a football game was in Oxford Mississippi.. Rude and stuck up bama bang fanbase I've ever been around.. Only the women gives this place a thumbs up for me, that's it..

FWIW, I've actually heard nothing but good words about Tuscaloosa. I suspect this may change when they're not beating us like a drum anymore.

I went in 2005 for the epic 6-3 shootout. Our group met some Bama alums from St. Louis the night before at our hotel and set around drinking in the parking lot. They told us to come find them the next day and tailgate, their treat. They had a Mexican themed lunch tailgate before the game and BBQ pork after the game. Two of us didn't have tickets and we searched all day and found the going rate was $200 each. We told our new found "friends" we weren't going to pay that, we'd just go back to the car. They pulled out 2 extras and made us a "deal"; they said we'll supply the tickets and bourbon for free if you provide the cokes once inside the stadium. I believe there's a respect factor that comes into play in the Bama-UT rivalry given the two programs history's. We want to kill each other on the field but at the end of the day you can't help but "appreciate" what the other has done for the conference and college football in general.

Doesn't matter who has problem with it, you didn't have a ticket to be in that area. I am getting tired of people doing this at all sporting venues. You should have bought 3 tickets together instead of coming on here and complaining about opposing fans. You aren't entitled to decided if others are inconvenienced by how you decide to sit.

By the way I am not a blue hair. I am in my early 30s. And no I don't complain about people standing up because I stand a lot. I am just sick of other young people thinking rules don't apply to them.

FREAK - I'm pissed. I tried to like this post a few times. What gives??

Act like a d-bag odds are people will treat you like one, and yes the whole three people in two seat move is a d-bag move. Justify it however you want. Didn't want to split the group up? Stay home.

I bought tickets when I got there. I had no idea what I would find which obviously wasn't much. There wasn't 3 tix to be had anywhere in the stadium. Anyhow, I guess have better things to complain about than where people sit when it doesn't concern me.

But WTF do you think happens when UT sells 109k tickets to a game when the stadium seats 104k, as was the case in the 2004 UF game?

I had quarters and batteries thrown at me at the 2003 game after we got the 4th and 19 in ot. Where they found batteries during a football game I have no idea but they did
