The sweetest part for me is I don't just have to see their boards for their meltdown, I'm living in the middle of it. From my wife, friends, neighbors, church people, and tonight at work! I've already heard it all!

Where I live, I have a Florida fan neighbor and a Georgia fan neighbor. It's been sweet walking around in my UT gear. To boot, I also have a St. Louis Cardinal neighbor and so I also wear my Cubs cap.

(To be fair, all of them are nice people, so nothing nasty going on.)

I'm not exactly sure what there is to meltdown about, I thought Georgia played well. Sure the Vols came back but it hasn't been an easy task to keep a large lead on them. I was watching the game and when there was the penalty at the end... I was like this ain't good.

Georgia looked solid to me and the QB looks real good for a freshman, not sure I understand the meltdown. The vols are a good team.

Because of how they lost. You score the go ahead TD with 10 seconds left, you have to win that game.

Oh believe me, they're losing it. About 90% of people on my Facebook are wanting CMR back tomorrow. Haha

Yep, FSU and Georgia fans said at one point in the 4th quarter- "We got this!" Hmmm! Game isn't over until the scoreboard reads: 00:00
Winners: Tar Heels on a 50 yard FG and the Vols on a "Hail Mary" wtih 4 seconds.

jmo... but the other miracle wasn't the FL come back, but was Hurd recovering Dobbs' fumble in the endzone in OT. If he doesn't recover, the odds are we lose that game.

I can buy that better than the Florida comeback where we held a 17 point lead at one point. There was no drama to the last 4 minutes of that game. If anything the score could have been worse.

And what's funny is after our last little coaching change, not a soul wanted Dooley back.

Well, perhaps a couple of morons, but an overwhelming majority thought better.

Anyway, sometimes to shows how moronic your fanbase can be about a coaching change.

To be fair, a more accurate comparison, would be the number of VOL fans who wanted fulmer back after the Kiffin season. CMR is no Dooley.

I agree to an extent. And a good number wanted Fulmer back after the Dooley debacle.

I don't think Smart will be their Dooley FTR. But if he drops a few more games this year, the grumblings will be quite apparent. And if Richt continues to win at Miami, the gnashing of teeth will be heard all over the south.

Let me see if I've got this right.... Kirby Smart, a former defensive back, defensive coordinator and now a head coach hasn't been able to coach FOUR defensive backs how to propely defense a hail mary pass.........

Ignoring all other blunders he made during the game, that one alone is PURE GOLD...

I get it, not a great way to end the game but really up to that point I say they played a very solid game. The Vols are a good team. I see no reason for a meltdown, mistakes happen... I had a sinking feeling the penalties were going to hurt them... we were commenting on it when it was happening.

My biggest surprise is they didn't stick their most athletic tall receiver and plant him at the goalline to knock down jump balls. The Lions did that stuff with Megatron.

He was there. Forget his name but he is 6'7" and was admiring the catch! Lol

Here is the coach being fired karma. Georgia isn't ranked but they fired Richt and Miami is ranked 10th. You know he was horse laughing Saturday! Lol

Every fan base thinks the grass is greener on the other side.

Ha.. Sounds good on paper. Actually knowing Richt's character, and the fact that he recruited most of the guys on this team - I don't think this is the case. Maybe he is grinning to himself about the boosters and the AD a little bit, but consider that if he was on the sidelines instead of Kirby, the same fate could have easily fell on his shoulders.

Although I somewhat agree with the last statement, in general, not sure it fits in this situation. It's not like Richt was there a few years and got the boot... to me this lacks context.

Les Miles could go somewhere and have a better record than LSU does.... doesn't mean he shouldn't have been fired. (Hey guys, I wasn't doing my job there but look what happens when I do)

It was time for Richt to go a few years ago... there is no greener grass in Mile's case.... he ate it all. 10-15 years is plenty of time for a coach... time to move on and get new blood.
