Visiting that board is like going to the Twilight Zone... It's as if we've entered another dimension (But in this case not one of mind, seeing as how none of them have one).

I also left a post for them in the Derek Barnett thread that should have them clamoring for quite awhile.

All in a day's work fellas. Nothing's given me as much enjoyment this offseason as having a few laugh at Vanderbilt's expense.

Vandy has 13 cruits visiting this weekend. A majority of two stars - and committed elsewhere. Lets just say Mason manages to flip and sign 1/2 of them (highly unlikely). Give them 7. Put's them at 16 for players they actually recruited. The real number would be, IMG, 4 from this weekend. 4 solid 2*s to add to their 9 verbals. 13 commits. Mason will be scrambling and the poor sots that support that scruffy program will somehow justify it into a great recruiting year considering the coach change. It sure is great to be a Vol fan!!

I used to not care about Vandy. Living in the Nashville area during their "Golden Age of Football Dominance" has changed my mind.

Their fans give Bama and Gator fans a run for their money on the obnoxious scale.

Don't worry, they'll scurry like rats back into the sewers they came from now that their "glory days" are over.

And the best part, they can't even really look back too fondly on the last 3 years because of how Franklin left them high and dry.

To me the most amusing thing about Vandy is how they define success...Two years of 9-4 are indeed their glory days....but Tennessee fired Johnny Majors in 1992 in the middle of a 9-3 season and Tenn was 9-3 the year before as well. Tennessee also fired Phil Fulmer just one year after a 10-4 season that included a trip to the SECCG. Tennessee was 9-4 the year before that. These people are very impressed by their team's modest accomplishments but most teams in this league fire their coaches for consistently going 9-4.

In response to a Vol poster who started a thread about SEC teams and 4/5 star players...

Another UT guy coming over here telling us how great they will be.

4 OOC games, KY, UT is all we need to get to a bowl.

Can any joker come in and start a thread? Shouldn't there be a minimum post count that is needed in order to start threads?

just read where they are on commit watch for two 2-star LB/DE type guys. one is a Louisiana Monroe commit. the other is a Nevada commit lol.....bringin in the monster class baby!

one is a 5.2 2 star and the other a 5.4 2 star....they should get a whopping 60 pts combined for both players lol

I doubt they land either one of them LOL!...the word is that Mason is enforcing a curfew on recruiting visits???? Ever heard of this? How are they going to recruit anybody now? They are about to hit an all time low - as in Watson Brown years.

no, i have never hear of such. i may cruise over there to see if i can read about that. sounds ridiculous.

teams they are battling for the recruits who are on campus this weekend:
San Jose State
Nevada
GA Southern
Utah State
UL-Monroe
Yale
ECU
South Florida
Harvard
Washington State


its an absolute joke over there right now
