Holy crap! Anybody looking at Carb Day coverage on Versus? Big wreck in the Indy Lights race. Good final 5 laps, too.

I hate to see TK have yet more bad luck. It won't be long before he gets his though. Will Power has looked very impressive through the first half, just hanging in and staying in contention.

Helio, like the true champ he is, stayed composed throughout the entire event and was able to regain the lead in the later stages and win going away.

Kudos to Dan Whelden and Danica Patrick. Whelden came from well back with much lower funded team and Danica drove a well disciplined race.

Can you believe the extent that the IRL went to trying to keep Helio from getting out of the car to climb the fence? It was ordered by Brian Barnhart, which most likely came from Tony George, according to Robin Miller on Wind Tunnel. The one official at the car actually put the steering wheel back on once. Ridiculous!

i said Will Power would win the 500 and the championship this year. i'll stick to that.

I think Dario has something up his sleeve. I'd love to see Kanaan get a win, but he's too busy babysitting at AGR to make a real push.

A little early to judge, but it is hard to count out Scott Dixon for the 500. I would like to see TK win, or Graham Rahal would be a popular win.

Hey doozer, do you think anyone will go after the $20 million Bruton Smith is putting up to win Indy & the 600? First question is will it be possible?

It will never happen unless Penske runs Busch or Ganassi runs Montoya, and the latter still is a longshot.

What about Tony Stewart, Scott Speed, A J Almendinger, Taglianni, Sam Hornish or Robby Gordon? Danica???

Or any IRL driver who thinks they can drive a Cup car, and can get a ride. $20 M can draw one time deals.

Word is he shook down all four cars yesterday. kinda hard to focus on your own effort when you're doing everybody else's prep work.

i'm glad Bobby was able to get a deal for Graham. hopefully he can keep it out of the wall and finish the race.

right now, it's impossible. somebody is going to have to move a race day or the 500 will have to go back to it's traditional noon start time.

even then, i don't think anybody can do it.

Keselowski said tonight on WindTunnel he definitely would like to give it a try as soon as he feels like his Cup car can win the 600.

Tony isn't in Penske or Ganassi's organization, Speed won't do it or he already would have taken a shot at it, AJ would be a good bet if Forsythe had made the switch, I don't think Tags, or Gordon could win either, lol Danica lol.

Hornish might do it, but I think his challenge would be the 600, and I don't see him winning it.

Besides, would Penske really run 5-6 cars? Would Ganassi?
