The murder of Ahmaud Arbery

That sounds likes a fair assumption. Whatever the guys in the truck had been doing before that they hadn't shot at him.

Sure are trusting the intent of two armed citizens repeatedly cornering a lone, unarmed man in their truck.

Georgia doesn't exactly have a gleaming history when it comes to gun toting rednecks riding down men of color in pickup trucks.

They also come to break into houses and cars and steal crap...Thus why your neighborhood is one of the worst in the city for crime outside of KCDC properties

Post the stats. 4th and Gill is the safest neighborhood in the downtown area.

LOL back to the "georgia rednecks" line...They just HAD to be the KKK waiting to lynch this poor misunderstood guy

You are basing your responses off emotions and biases

Really? Oh snap...

Wait, when you say "in the neighborhood", that was apparently a one way in cul-de-sac neighborhood. Did he live in the cul-de-sac or near the general area?

Not that it makes that big of a difference, just curious.

It's strange how little information there is. I've read he lived nearby but that's a subjective statement. Then we have Ricky assuring us there is security footage of him creeping and that he didn't live nearby, but offers no sources.

If you just google his name, you get very little in return.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, are you really believing this? You realize that KARM is counted in those stats of that area as well right?

Despite admitting to your own weighted statistic in the form of a thrift store that is past the I40 bridge and technically not in the neighborhood, here's a crime map picture further lending to the stench of your bullsh*t statement.

So... "HAHAHA" right back at you, Bubba.

Post the stats. 4th and Gill is the safest neighborhood in the downtown area.

Well in 2020, the area has had:

- 10 thefts
- 7 burglaries (4 were homes)
- 6 armed robberies
- 3 vehicle thefts
- 1 Sexual Assault
- 1 Aggravated Assault

and THAT'S just the stuff they keep track off, not the drugs/homeless people loitering/prostitution etc. that's also there

Old North Knoxville is a neighborhood in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States, located just north of the city’s downtown area. Initially established as the town of North Knoxville in the late-19th century, the area was a prominent suburb for Knoxville’s upper middle and professional classes until the 1950s. After a period of decline, preservationists began restoring many of the neighborhood’s houses in the 1980s. In 1992, over 400 houses and secondary structures in the neighborhood were added to the National Register of Historic Places as the Old North Knoxville Historic District.

try harder bubba, from the various arrests of prostitutes, drug addicts, homeless that aren't kept on regular crime statistics, to the several felonies i posted above (just for 2020), to the drug dealer that operates in the house off Eleanor Street, the sex offenders who live nearby, and the crazy elderly guy who recently shot holes in his house. You live in one of the worst crime ridden neighborhoods in the city. Just because other millennials moved there to be "rustic" doesn't mean the criminals still don't live there and operate there

You know 4th and Gill and Old North Knox are different neighborhoods, right?

Of course not. Do your homework. Moron.

Try again history major, might want to see how the city classifies the area. I am looking at actual city maps, how about you?

From the very source you posted.

4th/Gill ends at Glenwood. Starts at 4th. Quit talking out of your ass, you scared, little worm.

You sound like a Karns Karen.

ONK starts at Glenwood where 4th/Gill ends. If you actually lived here, you'd know what you were talking about. But, hey, what do I know? I actually live here.

When it became clear they weren't going to trap or tree him like an animal.
So their plan was to get into a physical altercation with him so he could get his hand on their own weapon and then shoot him?

I'm not saying they should be found innocent of anything. Just that I think it's a safe assumption that if he made no attempt to start a physical altercation with the guy from the truck there would have been no shooting. They'd already called the cops. What justification would they have had prior to this for shooting a guy suspected of breaking into houses? Especially when it's being recorded?

I read they were told by the 911 operator not to pursue.
I would imagine that's standard procedure. Do 911 operators ever tell someone to pursue a suspected criminal? Would they risk that liability?

I'm sure you do, but it doesn't change what i'm saying...There is a lot of crime, sex offenders, prostitutes, homeless, and druggies who constantly commit crimes in that area. If you don't believe that to be true, you simply are naive or oblivious to facts
