That'll pretty much do it. Barring a major miracle/slippage, the preds are staying home this postseason

preds came through huge tonight in a SO win against detroit. looking forward to the blues game tomorrow night against the wild and anaheim vs dallas.

a loss for either stl or anaheim puts us in the drivers seat to clinch the playoffs....GO PREDS!!!

WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Awesome comeback win over the Wings! That was basically a MUST win game! Can't believe the Preds won the season series 4-2 and have won 3 straight vs Detroit. With the last two wins being at the Joe. Now Nashville must take down the Wild tomorrow night!

We do not play very well in MN, for whatever reason. This game makes me very nervous.

Blues are in. If Anaheim can pull off a win tonight vs Dallas then the playoffs are all sown up and the last games are pretty much just exhibitions

Well that's it. Season's over. Preds were so close to making the Playoffs. I guess there's always next season. Until then........GO PREDS!!!!!!

Yep. For the blues and ducks the season goes on. For the preds, you couldn't win when u had to so time to go home. Goodbye, see you next season

Doozer, was talking to my dad, he said he didn't think the Wings would get too far. He said their defense not as good as last year, and still have goaltending issues.

Dubinsky! Ranger special teams were on it last night, 2 big kills in the 3rd and 2/4 on the PP, here's to bringing it home 2-0 for next week.

It was a good game by the Rangers, no doubt. I grew up a Rangers fan so I don't harbor too much animosity towards them unlike most Caps fans. If Theodore keeps playing like his "Threeormore" nickname and Varlamov isn't brought in, the Rangers might steal the series in a hurry. :banghead2:

Either way, I'll be at game 2 tomorrow hoping for the best!

They finally bring in Varlamov and he gets his first NHL loss in a game where he only gave up 1 goal and it was the fault of the defense... Looks like another one-and-done postseason for the Caps. Avery and Callahan have agitated their way into the Caps' heads and are taking everyone off their game. Good job on their part.

Callahan will be the next Captain of the Rangers.... Avery was Avery, and Rosival did a hell of a job on #8...the Caps rush had me scared alot through the game, but the boys blocked shots, and Hank took care of the rest.
