The Nights The Lights Went Out All Over (Multiple Power Grids Sabotaged)

Put 'em in your kid's school. But the COTUS is clear anything not defined in the COTUS is regulated to the States, The people don't want this sik mental trash anywhere near their kids and will make sure it is so.
Well then it's a good thing they defined it in the Constitution. Likely saw people like you coming when they did

Not that these people are rational but the drag thing doesnt make sense to me.

It's a private event, indoors, and you have to get tickets. So it's not like the general public was exposed to anything.

Far, far simpler ways to cut power to a drag show than to take out two different power stations. Could easily just hit the one transformer feeding the building. Or literally cut the lines, mess up their meter. You could do any number of other things to get the drag show cancelled if that is your specific issue.

I am wildly dubious anybody took out a power grid involving tens of thousands of people to interrupt a drag show.

Seems awfully extreme, doesn't it? As far as I've heard that's just a rumor. You do wonder, however, since the FBI is now involved. And that would suggest that there is evidence of some purpose to it, perhaps that or something else.

I think it's entirely plausible there was "some purpose". Given the event I'm not surprised the FBI could be involved. I just really, REALLY doubt targeting a drag show would come down to a case of "I know...let's knock out power to literally thousands of people who have nothing to do with them freaks.".

Personally I think this is MSM trying to equate the two.

Happened in Silicon Valley a few years ago and I do not think they ever found the guilty parties.

Metcalf sniper attack - Wikipedia
When that happened, it was said it was done by professionals with military training. So the real question is, when do they do something on a big scale? This seems like a dry run of sorts before something catastrophic.

It does seem like it would be a nutty reason, doesn't it? Especially if its more than one person doing the attacks.

I think the most feasible explanation for this 1 and the 1 in california is these were "dry runs" as probing/practice in knocking out portions of the power grid.

Using only guns...which can be bought at Walmart...these clowns have knocked out power to over 40,000 people for nearly 48 hours now . Very low effort crime, probably never had to even get more than a few feet from their vehicle to pick up shell casings. We need to make it much harder to shut down our towns and cities.

Isnt this THE alleged reason for the great raping of òur liberty called DHS?!?!?

Where the Hell are they? I read that the fbi is involved...

It doesn't take a lot of firepower to penetrate a large transformer in a substation to destroy it, and those transformers are months if not years in advance orders. It wouldn't surprise me if Duke Energy even had enough spares on hand to replace the ones they destroyed. If someone took out 20 substation transformers, they would probably deplete the entire countries complement of spares, since transformers last for 50+ years on average and they usually know well in advance when one needs replacing by the oil samples from them.

I know here in Atlanta they go through and fortify these power stations. They put up a bunch of walls all around while still maintaining airflow and access. They are supposed to block direct LOS, or shots, on the power stations.

Once you get past the mess of Pan's Labriynth of these protective walls you quickly realize the walls cant protect the actual lines that have to be clear above the stations. And that usually means a decent chunk of the transformers are also above whatever walls you can install.

If it's anything like the smaller transformers we use, 600A, its years in advance.

We had another project go through a complete redesign because the transformers as designed had a 56 MONTH lead time.

We are hearing that they are starting to beat their projected delivery dates, but they will tell you 70 weeks, if they get it out in 66 great, but they are worried about problems over such long lead times.

It's good that in your neck of Afghanistan/Georgia that they protect the substations. Here in East Tennessee, they have the standard issue chain link fence with a couple of barbed wire strands on top to keep the vagrants and possums out.

I do have to admit. The first time I saw one of the protected stations it felt weird. Like i was somewhere else, or like it was some lame art project.

It would most likely take armor piercing type of round to penetrate a station transformer. They are built with pretty heavy gage steel. My guess is they shot the high side bushings off the top of the transformer from a distance They are just porcelain and would easily be destroyed with most any round. They are also a pain to replace. Sounds like they were all source stations because switching and rerouting wasn't a option for Duke. That would require knowledge of the grid to know that or some really lucky guessing.
