That is the spot I have wanted all along. The only drawback is it is a little far from BART. Other than that it makes the most sense.

no. They get all but like $200K of his $1.5M signing bonus and retain his rights (I'm assuming for 7 years). No compensatory pick though.

What's up with the Howard Terminal challenges? Haven't heard anything in a while.

The gondola and getting people there in general, what will happen with the port itself and some heat from local businesses and people that don’t want it

Other than not being at a BART stop, it is a great location. The A's presented an idea for a downtown stadium by Lake Merritt which would also be a cool location, but the city hated that idea.
