I must have missed the part where losing to a top ten team at a neutral site (well, in name only) is cause for you to be fired.
Plus, what if they go out and beat SC the next week? At that point, they'd have the inside track on the SEC East title.
You need to learn your SEC history before making yourself look stupid. I think Boise State beats Georgia, but Georgia has more SEC Titles than Florida and also still leads the all-time series against them. I'm sure you think Florida is a "big time" SEC school, right?
Georgia also has a .646 all-time win percentage, good for something like 11th all-time or so and has 26 Bowl wins.
Only an idiot would make that statement. Oregon isn't a big-time Pac-12 school. USC, UCLA, and Washington are the top schools in that conference.
the letdown factor for an outfit like OU, given that it's just a craphole scrimmage for them, is just hard to estimate. AL had the same issue, albeit losing their AA right tackle hurt, with Nevada.
My alma mater damn near beat AL in the Sun Bowl years ago and it wasn't because we had any business on the field with them. Had it been week 2, they beat
us by 35.
You're serious?Again, their schedule is tougher than Georgia's.
