The odds of Boise State putting a total beatdown on Georgia?

Starting off 0-2 this year may put them into a tail spin from which they cannot recover.
I want to put them in the tail spin from which they cannot recover though.

I give less than a damn if Boise wins. I'm hoping UGA wins big and Richt stays there forever; let the mediocrity perpetuate.

Their schedule, precisely. Outside of maybe one team per year, they don't play anybody. Which teams have been afraid to play them? Please list them for me. Or are you just pulling that out of your arse?

boise wants a home and home to schedule people which is ridiculous.

I believe they also want $900,000 to come to the opponent's stadium. Correct me on that if I am wrong, but I have read/heard that in different places.

I must have missed the part where losing to a top ten team at a neutral site (well, in name only) is cause for you to be fired.

Plus, what if they go out and beat SC the next week? At that point, they'd have the inside track on the SEC East title.

Just because Boise is pre-season Top 10 does not mean they will finish there, although theit soft schedule should assist them.

You need to learn your SEC history before making yourself look stupid. I think Boise State beats Georgia, but Georgia has more SEC Titles than Florida and also still leads the all-time series against them. I'm sure you think Florida is a "big time" SEC school, right?

Georgia also has a .646 all-time win percentage, good for something like 11th all-time or so and has 26 Bowl wins.

Only an idiot would make that statement. Oregon isn't a big-time Pac-12 school. USC, UCLA, and Washington are the top schools in that conference.

You must have a different definition of tiers than me.

Remember when Zabransky (sp?) was Boise's QB, and folks were predicting they would go to Athens and beat UGA?

UGA handed Boise their potato eating a$$e$...expect more of the same this fall.

I agree. Georgia wins this game, by atleast 7 IMO.

Tradition has nothing to do with how good any team is now. Tennessee may have tradition, but they're not a top tier SEC school right now. Same goes for UGA.

Agree, but tradition is a bit more than you are giving it credit for.

That's common practice. Mtsu wants them with the big dogs too. Doesn't mean they will get them, but still. Everyone wants the big dogs to return the favor.

it's not common practice for mid majors. fresno doesn't request that as an example.

I understand that tradition matters. It just doesn't make a program better in 2011.

I agree. It matters when I comes down to recruiting, game day atmosphere etc, but you are correct, it does NOT make you a better team in 2011.

I understand. You make a good point Droski. I would think that most try though. Maybe I'm wrong. Just what I think to be true

the letdown factor for an outfit like OU, given that it's just a craphole scrimmage for them, is just hard to estimate. AL had the same issue, albeit losing their AA right tackle hurt, with Nevada.

My alma mater damn near beat AL in the Sun Bowl years ago and it wasn't because we had any business on the field with them. Had it been week 2, they beat
us by 35.

Most intelligent post of the thread. OU did not want to be there period.

Again, their schedule is tougher than Georgia's.

Lulz.

Let's try it this way. Would you rather UT have UGA's schedule or Boise's schedule? What I mean by this is do you think UT would fare better with UGA's schedule or Boise's schedule?
