NCAA chairman just interviewed on CBS and said "Tenn. didn't beat in power teams during our winning stretch". What a moron. So MTSU beats 1 top 100 team ALL season and we beat FL , KY and Mizzou and he makes that statement? No wonder we didn't get in What a freaking moron!

I think it's obvious that they were taking 3 from the sec.

Because of the sec tourney run and the 0-2, they were taking ole miss

If the explanation was legit.. I'd be fine. That explanation he gave was complete bulls**t. Didnt beat powerful teams? Missouri, Florida, UK by 30.

That and Ole Miss is an irrelevant matchup to consider as Ole Miss would have been in regardless of losing or splitting to Tennessee. If Ole Miss was an At-Large then it is a valid point. This is the definition of a snub.

The guy said UT didn't beat a lot of very powerful teams and struggled to win on the road.

The sweeps by Ole Miss and UGA did UT in.

Because of you, they didnt have a choice but to take Ole Miss. Again, not a relevant team in the snub of Tennessee.

To NCAA selection commitee ---- all your small school, LAC 12 and Big 12 teams will make the NIT more fun to watch so suck it tools . I will watch reruns of Pawn Stars and Duck Dynasty before those NCAA joke games

UK and Mizzou are not power teams when we beat them! How Mizzou is a tourney team in the first place baffles me. The only team worth a dam we beat in the last ten was Florida. That's all. We did this to ourselves. Quit looking for someone to blame. It's getting old. Every time it's always someone else's fault. We are not dancing because of coaches and players and that's it.

Top what? 10-15? Jarnell's stats were equivalent or better than Noel minus blocks and steals. If you're the best player in the league you score more than 10ppg, especially given no one else on that team can score. This was one of the worst, if not the worst UK team I can remember. Noel and everyone on that team benefited from a horrible SEC.

Last few years the committee has over-compensated looking at mid-majors. For years mid-majors often got overlooked, but the last 5-10 years the committee is putting an emphasis on them to a fault.

No coincidence the last 4 in are mid majors while the majority of the first 8 out are from major conferences.

While mid majors do need a fair look there's no reason to give them all the benefit of the doubt now.

Cuonzo Martin is a rising star and we are very fortunate to have him. He's been a head coach for all of 5 years. Don't miss this point. Bruce Pearl was a HC for 20 years. This is very significant. I guarantee you the rest of the coaches in our league believe this guy is going to win championships. I do too. I hope he's here for a long long time.

Funny how getting swept by a top 3 team in your league and conference tourney champ is a bad thing. All that says is we didnt beat a team who's technically better than us.

when we played ole miss they were ranked!!!! or right outside the top 25 remember the sell outs in the tad pad...i'm heated right now!!!
