Meant to post this earlier, but I ran into Lamonte on the strip a few weeks back. He was a little taller in person than I imagined (I’m in the white shirt). Then again, I’m pretty average haha. He was a super nice guy and talked with us for a couple minutes before heading into the game. Ready to watch him have a big senior year. Go Vols!

It's amazing how many once elite football programs have been or are dumpster fires. Tennessee. Texas. USC. UCLA. Miami. Florida State. Nebraska. Michigan is scratching at the door. Why can't the same thing happen to Kentucky, UNC, and Duke?

It's a bit easier to recruit in b-ball. Easier to turn around too. Look at UK during the BG years.

Michigan has had a chance to make the CFP going into the regular season game 2/3 years. They are nowhere near close to a dumpster fire.

I didn't say that Michigan IS a dumpster fire. Reading is hard.

Scratching on the lid of a dumpster fire is way off base too. Since when is 45-16 over five years a dumpster fire? Hell is Tennessee basketball close to a dumpster fire if they miss the tournament? Paying $5M for a coach to miss the tournament is scratching the lid of a dumpster fire if you ask me.

Get your shots on the Deacon in early and often.

Yes, Michigan is on the verge of igniting. 3rd highest paid coach with pretty middling results based on their history, fan support, and budget.

It’s not a shot because Tennessee isn’t close to a dumpster fire, just like Michigan football isn’t either. It’s a dumb statement.

Coming in at 33 on Jay Bilas' Top 68 list

33. Tennessee Volunteers

Expect the Vols to be good again. Rick Barnes has increased the program's win total in each of the four seasons at the helm. Tennessee tied a school record with 31 wins last season and spent the entire 2018-19 campaign ranked in the top 10. Barnes will need to replace the SEC's leading scorer from last season in Grant Williams (19 PPG) and Admiral Schofield (16.4 PPG), who was fifth in league scoring. Lamonte Turner will get more shots and blossom into one of the SEC's best players.
