The Official “Regular Posters of the Basketball Forum” Thread

I think UT has the more wins than anyone else against UK, but I understand that's also a result of how often the teams play one another. Either way, I was happy to see UK be successful in football this year (they are probably my least hated team in the SEC East), I look forward to the game tomorrow, I'll be on the first row right behind the UK bench.

The other 8 members of the original SEC played home-and-away with KY for many decades.

Am I dumb for not getting this?
Lou Holtz was notorious for poor-mouthing his teams when they were clearly superior to their opponent. Notre Dame could be playing Navy, whom they beat like 40 times in a row, and Holtz would have the media believe they were playing the '85 Bears.

The way you talk about UK basketball in November and December each year is eerily similar.

I kinda assumed it was something like that.

And yeah...I'm terribly pessimistic. My father was a debbie downer. I'm a debbie downer. I don't know if that's where I got it or what. I can't even enjoy this season of football because I know we're gonna take a step backwards next near.

Your tone seems to turn when UK begins to peak in February and March, though. 🤔

I'm also pulling a D4H; I'm talking like I know UT wins tomorrow. If we do, then I called it, if we don't, hey we suck, what did you expect?

LMU gets by Clayton St 82-61. Splitters were streaky tonight. Freshmen played key roles. They play USC - Aiken tomorrow afternoon.

@BruinVol what was your bet with @BigZiti09 about attendance? They’ve had over 16k for both games this year which is REALLY impressive, the past couple years similar games were drawing about 11k.

Still really wish they would reconfigure things but that is never going to happen so oh well.

LMU beat Clayton St. yesterday 82-61. Great first half but inconsistent second half. Bam Brown fr. did not play due to ankle sprain. He's a beast. We play South Carolina Aiken in the second game of the invitational today at their place where the tourney is.
Our gals are in a tourney in Fla.
