The Official “Regular Posters of the Basketball Forum” Thread

what to make of Michigan? My gut says it's too early to tell, but looks like some quality wins to me, running traditionally good teams out of the gym.

Just saw this picture... Wow.

While I get the fact that wins are ultimately what matters most, and Pearl did a lot of that here, this roster is a far cry from tear drop tattooed/serial number filed off the gun roster we were running with.

This roster is greater than the sum of the parts. The riding dirty bunch... not so much.

I always felt bad for Tyler Smith, though. Especially after he revealed that he was carrying the gun because someone robbed him a week earlier.

I totally get that he was responsible for putting himself in that situation, and even though it was his rental car and his gun I’m still easier to forgive him than say Brian Williams. Idk why.

I guess good basketball just goes a long way for me, dude. Tyler still has the only triple double in school history—so what if he got into a little bit of trouble..?

I can’t imagine how incredible Tyler Smith would have been if he possessed a fraction of Grant’s good character, common sense, and work ethic. Wow!!

You better put some respeck on Tyler Smith's name! Lol

Who all was in that car? Smith, Williams, Goins, and I feel like the 4th was Tatum?

Those are the 4.

Why didn't Tyler get a legal firearm? Didn't that one have the serial number scratched off?
Exactly, that’s why I don’t have nearly the sympathy as Indy...could’ve legally obtained one, didn’t have to be one with a filed off serial number and permit either.

If I recall correctly, he tried to legally obtain one at Bass Pro. Apparently the clerk working in the gun section that day was a huge ETSU fan with a supposed military background—bad memory, but I wanna say former Drill Sargent...don’t quote me on that, though—anyway, the guy was a total moron and refused to sign the paper work to approve the purchase of a fire arm.

What you did there...

I still can't believe they don't do home/home during their non conference schedule. What a bunch of *******. Makes me think even less of them
Yeah. Me too. I mean we’ve played Louisville,Kansas, Georgia tech, and let’s go ahead and say Gonzaga.

Added Georgia tech because of the home and home, btw. Clearly they aren’t on the level of Kansas, and maybe even Louisville
