I never said it wasn’t, just you acting as if the fact nobody has been hired is some crazy long drawn out process is moronic. It was never going to be an immediate hire and there’s no real rush either, he’s tossing around multiple names and doing his research on them, acting like this is the head coach search all over again is crazy.

t does make one gun shy. Seems like deja vu. Most schools would already have an oc. This opening was knew of at the Mizzo game (probably) That’s almost5-6 weeks.

Sure was. And minus a couple of games, they've been hard to watch all season. Mariotta is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. The defense is pretty solid but they have an awful lot of secondary breakdowns that are frustrating as well.

I won't go so far as to say it would have already happened, but I do agree Freeze is probably waiting for the Alabama OC job. I mean Saban tried to get him last year and the SEC strongly discouraged it. And as much as many in our fanbase do not want to admit, we're simply not as attractive as a job as we used to be.

Define “have to”. Is the chances of a good season and run in the tourney over if they don’t?

Cause I’d argue confidence and morale would still be there with a loss. Fans would be the ones impacted. Imo

Come on man. Yes it would be very good, but it's in no way an "absolutely have to" win game.

I would argue it's a game we need to show up; if we get boat raced, that would be bad.

Nope. Going 0-2 against the top teams, with what is supposed to be one of your all time greatest teams? We would drop out of the top 10, and that sets a bad tone for the season. Maybe not a must win, but this game is very, very important.

I think it will be worse for the fans because it will be the "close no cigar" that we've been experiencing. In actuality I think it only is bad if we get beaten badly.

Yes, i meant fans. Personally, I we would lose all excitement. Just sounds like “different year, same university”

Well you stated “we absolutely have to win” and now are saying “maybe not a must win”, two pretty different statements.
