The Official “Regular Posters of the Basketball Forum” Thread

Yeah, probably. From an entertainment standpoint, I would love for it to happen. I would love to watch Bruce’s boy fail spectacularly.
I’m rooting for this scenario. Can already envision the college version of Carlesimo vs Sprewell, but instead of the choke hold lil Pearl with a broke nose. Probably mean to envision but still funny nonetheless. 😆

The inconsistency of the Vols offense is still a major concern, even in the
blowout the 2nd half was ugly.

Inconsistent offense will be a major detriment when the big tourney comes. Can't
afford a bad half or you will be eliminated quickly. Defense can carry you for a game
or two in the tourney, but not a 5 or 6 game run.
Ready to see what we look like tomorrow, as ugly as the 2nd half was it was still a net positive offensive performance meaning we moved up in offensive efficiency. Considering the funky lineups and sloppiness in the 2nd half due a good bit to boredom imo, hard to take much from the 2nd half. The 2 halves that have mattered in the last 2 games they’ve looked as good as they have all year, hoping to build off that but to me it’s a positive sign.

Oh man. Yes. There have been only 2 UT basketball players that I disliked with a passion when they played here, and he's one of them.

Smart move by Louisville.
You know it. Auburn could afford to do it if they had to to keep him because they'd can him after a couple years and it would be worth if with what they get from Bruce. anyone else would be moronic to do it. Maybe I'm wrong but I seem to think Holtz and Spurrier tried the same things with their sons. I may be off but I was thinking Spurrier was going to take the Bama job before Saban but wanted Steve JR HCIW. I may be wrong.

Corny overused word but ‘confidence’ in shot making is the only/best thing other than the win that should come into play tomorrow. Imo
They are flat out better than KY and that should be evident but not taken for granted like the last time. Jmo
