So... we aren't leading at the half and now no one will want to play on the VOLS? The coaches can use this to let the recruits know that they can be the piece that pushes us over the top. This will only be 1 loss at the worst. If we can make it a game in the second half, that message becomes stronger!

Didn't say no one would come play for us but think how much better it would be if we win.

Year 2 for Heupel after walking into a locker room that had a mass exodus and all kinds of chaos.

He'll beat Kirby but he's going to need the kind of athletic talent GA has been hauling in for years.

Great thing is Heupel doesn't even have to have as many 5 stars...he just has to narrow the gap a little.

Put it this way... switch coaches and this would be a massacre. We're in this spot at all due to a top level coach.

He also started with way less than Kirby. No way in hell Kirby does what heupel did all things considered.

Kirby is a decent coach, but his success is in thanks largely due to having the state of Georgia to recruit from. He gets first dibs on the recruiting hotbed of the country and takes advantage.
