Losing is one thing. Getting the absolute crap beat out of you and not matching there intensity is unacceptable. We getting out hustled and out fought.Thoughts
1. There is an difference in effort.
2. There are going to be nights like this for everyone in the league with as many good teams as there are.
3. My biggest concern watching this would be that there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to go to stop the bleeding.
But, you’re the last undefeated team in the country. If the score holds, I would not freak out about losing to a top 10 team on the road
I'm surprised CRB isn't in our players faces and trying to motivate the team. Oh sure, he'll lay into them in the locker room. I feel he should have used every time-out and tried to work the ball inside on about every play. I guess humiliation will be the teacher here simply because our coach doesn't seem to want to interject a change of pace. Likely too late now.I know he won’t do it, but this may be one of those nights Rick needs to get a bit more animated with the officials. I doubt it changes much, and it’s not his style, but man why not try something. Nothing else is going well for this team so far.
We are not coming back from this deficit on the road. We could not match their physicality. We got puked in the paint.I'm surprised CRB isn't in our players faces and trying to motivate the team. I disagree - both of Florida’s big men are out muscling our bigs and we don’t have a true post scoring threat. JP has the size to help negate they’re size advantage in the post. This has nothing to do with JP. This is plain and simple a stinker shooting. An aberration from our first 14 games.
