No they don't. Tennessee is playing good defense. But so is Florida. Plus Florida is the home team with extra energy. This has been the story for every away SEC game

I disagree - both of Florida’s big men are out muscling our bigs and we don’t have a true post scoring threat. JP has the size to help negate they’re size advantage in the post.

Now it wouldn’t make the difference if we can’t shoot a lick tonight, but that occasionally happens in college basketball.

We held them to 34 that's not awful. Our offense has not helped our defense. It happens. And it's gonna happen more this season. This conference is nasty.

Sure, but we are absolutely getting our asses whooped down low physically. Ignoring that is just foolish. We’ve missed double the shots that Florida has and have been out rebounded on the offensive glass by double. Igor and Cade are getting destroyed on the block on D. They’re beating us at our own game of physicality, even without the missed shots.

If you told me we’d keep them to 34 at the half I’d have taken that. Had no idea we’d score 15.

Yeah and Cade Phillips hasn’t gotten punked in several games this year, and he’s 2x more physical than JP. Everyone is getting punked tonight.

Estrella has 2-3 inches and 50 pounds on Cade. They’re just not in the same realm of ability to move guys around on the block or holding their ground on the glass or defensively, mostly because they’re just different bodies.

We’re getting out rebounded because Florida is playing with far more fight, effort and intensity. It takes heart to win on the road against good teams and we aren’t showing we’ve got any. Disappointing.

It’s the strongest this league has ever been imo. A sub 500 conf team will make the dance.

TN ran into a buzzsaw tonight in a motivated FL team who is playing more physical. The effort is there for TN, but it’s human nature to get discouraged when nothing goes right, even for athletes.
