Tennessee hasn’t even really showed signs of this bad of offense all year. Had droughts but usually got righted. This is just an anomaly for this season so far.

To be fair, we have been cold shooting at times. Mashack, Igor, ZZ, Dubar, even Gainey have all had cold streaks. Its just that Lanier has bailed out hus teammates many times. Not so much tonight.

Florida defends with body and physical play, if the refs don’t call it ya get this mess.

We had a game last year at A&M like this…it lead to 8 straight wins & we smoked them in rematch.

Just have to figure out how to not shoot this bad on the road.

Barnes wants the refs to allow physical play. He preaches physicality. You can’t blame the refs for calling the game exactly how Barnes probably would have asked if he could have had his way.

Through 14 games, TN only has 3 players shooting above 30% from 3-pt:
1 - Lanier: 56/120 = 46.7%
2 - Gainey: 20/56 = 35.7%
3 - Mashack: 7/22 = 31.8%

TN does not have shooters to win anything meaningful this year. Tonight is reality slapping TN in the face. TN's best basketball may have already been played this year. Poor shooting, weak rebounding, lack of post production & inability to handle physical D are a recipe for many road losses & an early exit from the tourney.

So again, lack of ability to finish? And it's not that bad of a comparison: both are "wide open" and you're calling it great offense. If a receiver is wide open and the QB misses every time, it's not a good offense just because the receiver was open.

I'm telling you bc I know. I played this game. AAU level and community college ... These games happen... It sucks. The numbers this bad never really tell the story. This is simply a stinker. A bad one. Flush it.

Outside of missing shots we normally make what exactly has the game exposed about us? We already knew post play would be an issue.

For me it shows the same exact problem we had last season and haven't fixed it. Rely on one player too much and when Knecht/Lanier go ice cold. Don't have the team or players to pick up the slack

Dubar and Bishop still look lost at times on both ends. Mashack playing hurt is really impacting him.

Florida scored 100 at UK... They have 64 at home. Defense was good enough. Offense was that bad. Plain and simple a stinker. Stop over analyzing.

It's rare that a team that's #1 gets taken to task like this. You want to just throw the game tape away if you're Tennessee.

#1 ranked teams have only lost by 15+ 3 times according to the graphic they showed earlier. The first in 1968 and the last two in the last 10 years. This is historically bad

I have the opposite view. I'm showing my players this over and over. Getting pushed around and SEC teams are going to go right at them like this and they have to be ready.

Aren't going to win them all, but you gotta show up...... And they didn't.

Sky isn't falling, but this is a wake up call and they need to answer the bell.

I’m pretty sure that Lane’s escapades with coeds from a legal standpoint (age of female) were not illegal (with the exception of any alcohol related stuff if alcohol was involved).
