None of their players crossed into the field of play, you even said yourself they were close. So therefore it’s not interference and it looks like sour grapes. This was us last year; we have like 9 guys inside the lines (that we can see).

Well I didn't remember that a few of our guys were actually in the field of play - so I stand corrected. I do think there is a "slight difference" in hitting a grand slam in the NCAA regionals is a bit different than a regular season game - and I note that from the video it doesn't appear that the Vols "rushed" the field in the Wright State game as UK did last night. Frankly though, I think that some of the antics of these beloved Vols are a bit bush-league but I understand that much of the behavior is just how the game is played now. Never want to be accused of being the old "get off my lawn" guy.

That aside - Go Vols - Get the "W" this evening!

We deserved to lose last night. Leave RISP gets you beat. Last night could have easily been a 12-2 game on a normal night. Didn't get it done. They know it, our guys know it. Changes nothing. Now come back and kick ass when you step on the Diamond tonight / tomorrow

I’d love to know the stats for successful sacrifice bunts in college baseball on natural grass vs. artificial. I bet it’s drastically in favor of natural grass. With that said, Hoover and Omaha are natural grass.

They are definitely harder to hit home runs at. Hoover is 340 down the lines, 385 in the gaps, 405 in CF. Omaha is 335 down the lines, 375 in the gaps, 408 in CF.
